P.S.- when was the last time when you had an interaction with 'athul'?
sorry about that. i dint took the time to read about his current port setups and carb. i assumed that as he have shed all this money, time and effort to mod it look like a scrambler, maybe he has some to make it go like a scrambler. stroke it, overbore it, maybe gear it shorter. but it sure means altering his current port setups and sacrificing topend performance. but as it is a scrambler mod, straight line speed and high speed knee dragging cornering capabalities are not on the list. but acceleration and quick steering capabilities are on the list.

i've had the last conversation with athul 2 years back, while i was active in orkut. but probably he wont remeber it.

    hope that cleared your doubts.

A longer stroke length can increase torque and a bigger diameter piston with relatively shorter stroke can increase power as the piston needs to travel a shorter distance and therefore can rev to a higher peak rpm. Which is why a v-twin of the same capacity is down on power but has more torque than the equvalent 4-cyl in-line engine.

There you go, I have shed the little knowledge that I had. If you have more doubts please refrain from asking me. refer Wiki, my reliable, trustworthy friend.
thanks for the info there. wiki is not that reliable. but personal experience is.

But i think it more as a trail/dual bike than MX.I know how mods go wrong but luckily i got them right and each one provoked me for the next mod! And haan, I am using a yamaha drum on rear.. why did you change to unicorn's?
As i said, the suspension work well even when solo..(but better when 2up) and i face no issues on long runs.. My engine is stock. The lack of low end torque may be because of the chamber. Believe me, i had my chamber done thrice. And the muffler!! Man i bet its the coolest thing on the bike.. People just find tuff time finding it.. Right now, i am using the stock silencer (changed it just yesterday) just wanted to hear the actual roar.. The bike also has a domino quick throttle with pro-grip grips. The rear rim is CBZ's and the tire 100/90 18. And yes, i had a GPS device and a cyclocomputer on it too (As an electronics engg, i keep on doing such tp).. but its now off the bike.
      .....
which cyclocomp are you using? does it display speed correctly as(or close to) your speedometer? is it the type with a magnetic sensor?
I too am interested in one for knowing the avg speed, max speed, time, etc.
going for a cheap $6 one for experimental purpose as of now
