Theoretically it is supposed to just even out the uneven finish What difference would it make

Anyways, all random thoughts at the moment..sometimes I feel like selling it off along with the barrel and buying my college dream RXZ. Lets see. As of now my mind is like the one of a drunk monkey w.r.t to 135 re-build.

P.S: Don't ask me how I know the inside of drunk monkey's mind

@JD & Others - But are these good ones? I remember hearing sometime back that they were not as good as the Indian barrels & that's the reason someone here in Chennai wants to sell his 2 months used RXK barell @ 5K or so.

                            • ^ from what i understand, there are two qualities available abroad. The cheaper one is like the diamond kit of there, though its a oem cylinder, but has limited oversizing capabilities, the other one can be oversized to 8 sizes ( as in run 8 oversizes on the same block ), and the cheaper one can take only 4. So im expecting a difference in quality, thickness of cylinder etc.

According to the seller, this is the better variant. I wanted to find out for myself.

                              • @aargee

There is good information on this topic in RDD. Supposedly, Yamaha Genuine cylinder costs less than the 'other' one floating around.

The best quality is available in Singapore & Japan with the part number starting from 4ya. Try to search for the info on RDD.
