    **TEARS OF HAPPINESS**
    Brings back fond memories....

    Awesome restoration work brother!

I gun the throttle, the motorbike wails, the forks heave up, the revs climb, my view blurs, air gushes in my lid, muscles tighten, street lights streak. Just another day at work...

Ok, bike came to reserve after running for 230kms. I had filled 9 litres from Shell when the fuel tank was dry.

I am visiting workshop tommorrow to sort out some niggles and get compression test done.

That fellow has misplaced the compression tester So, no compression test today :-( None of the other ASCs have it. Hopefully this guy is able to find it

Battery is gone. Now, it will be another task to find a 6V battery.

He suspects piston rings are due for replacement. Have them though.

Filled one litre of Shell unleaded petrol and it returned 37kmpl, calculated reserve to reserve. Very happy with the figure, considering I frequently take it to 80kmph on the ring road and Bellary road.

                    Replaced piston rings today.

Noise has reduced but hasn't disappeared completely. Apparently, clearances of my bore has also increased Compression reading 120. Used to be 140, but this is a completely decarbonised bore & piston. So he advised me to take a reading after 1000kms.

Got a 12V battery, RR Unit & Flasher. Now the horn iritates the hell out of people

Yeah, done more than 1000kms, infact nearly 1300kms. I went to M.S.P Auto for compression test. The mechanic I know there had gone on a holiday. Other guy didn't oblige Went 30kms (one way) just for that and couln't get it done

The service advisor at Anurag has lent that device to a friend and hasn't bothered to collect it back. He is very casual about it. Udaafe

Will get it done maybe during next service.

Thanks man, will trouble you next weekend maybe. Will call you.

Many thanks to Pradeep (pyscho) for obliging with the test. The reading was 135. I would say not bad considering the bore clearances have increased. Not considering replacing the bore anytime soon.

It has run close to 2000kms (1900 to be precise). Will get it serviced @3000kms.

@Pradeep: Need your help to source that tester man.
