very true the spokes and rim of HH is quite strong as well so putting it on RX is good, because its hard to actually get the original rims for RX.

Need urgent help
My RX 100 has been having some starting problems lately. It simple doesn't start without pulling the choke lever and even with that I have to kick atleast four times to get it started. The cylinder is in bad shape and I recently got a oem cylinder kit but I'm waiting till I get the crankshaft to do the engine. Anyone please throw some light on my problem and help me go about it.

Check spark plug
Check carb for clean and right AFR
If you still don't have clues, kindly go through other RX threads for better understanding, or you can even google. We have discussed starting problems over and over again!RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

Just bought a RX 100 89 Model
Hello fellow RX lovers,
Today I bought a 89' RX 100 in Bangalore. It is like flying at the moment and doing exactly as what I expected from it. I had the option of buyin a Pulsar or an Enticer at the same price but I just didnt want to buy a just another bike.
I will have to do a minor general level of servicing or may be even go for a battery replacement as the horn is not working and I suspect that the headlight is attached to the dynamo ( if possible). Can anyone refer a good Yamaha mechanic for my bike as I dont want to hand over my bike to any novice and a fraudster. I though felt some vibrations in my wrist when I was speeding the bike, may be the suspensions need to be checked as well. At the moment I put a packet of 2T oil for every leter as instructed by the dealer, does any one know what is the ideal mix, I read the blog link posted in this thread but it was too complex
Thanks

Since you are in Bangalore, could not advise on good mech, hey, one thing is that the whole place is occupied with fraudsters and genuine mechanics are reduced to few if not handful. I would ask you to check with Bangalore xbhphian - Karthikduttag/ arvindraju /psycho_98 for some directions.Originally posted by SatyaVyas View PostHello fellow RX lovers,
