Switched to Nissin master cylinder & this gold colored caliper kit (new setup). And it behaved worse than clutch. So once again went back to the (old setup) Pulsar setup of BYBRE master cylinder & caliper kit & unfortunately that also started behaving the same way. It sent a complete shiver not just nerves, but entire spine as well.

And then finally, we decided to stick with old one because we know for sure the old one works. So we went about troubleshooting, leaving the setup on the bike over night & next day removing the air bubbles. Gradually the bite started improvising & got back a very good bite, which is much better than it used to be.

So, that kit is now awaiting (or has been) to some other Rx.

Basically, I went for a little overhaul after 7 years to change the rusted parts, keep the Mikuni as spare & use Micarb instead, changed batteries & 4 indicators & the worn out handle grips. Most of them...replicas, no original ones, even from the most reputed shop...you know which one

Had to accept it & move on because even the good old Motul 20W40 (or even 10W40) SS is being replaced by 20W50

After reading your post can think of two things....

      1. We should first checked the Master Cylinder by removing the piston and thorough cleaning the inlet and replace it with new master cylinder kit.
      2. Caliper piston O rings might have worn out. There is a red rubber grease to keep the rubber o ring in good condition.

If at all the above is checked, you can service them and keep it for future. Most of the time, issue lies in the brake lines where the air gets trapped.
A thorough pumping of brakes to let the air escape through is way to ensure good working.

We get Mikarb for RX135? or you referring to the last model of RX135 it came where it had UCAL MIKUNI embossed?

You'll not believe, the Yamaha OE quality has gone down that aftermarket brand named Diksha supplying better build quality.

We got brand new in everything; changed part by part; first the plugner kit, then master cylinder kit, then caliper kit & nothing availed. Finally gave up everything & stuck only with plunger kit (the same new one bought) & finally by several trial & error got the same old braking. So it was better than nothing at all & hence decided to stay with that

No UCAL, it's Micarb embossed only

No wonder!! It all seemed too fake despite buying from genuine spare parts dealer! I was cursing them to have cheated me, guess I will change my mind now.

Worst thing today is to go by these social media for seeking news. Most of the time they are nothing but to create sensation. Haven't we seen that?

You know well that 2 strokes are always have high demand and the prices of both pre-owned and spares have become costly affair. Some frustrated soul timed the circulation of fake news while govt the emphasizing on emission norms for automobiles in a phased manner.

          It's been a long time since I started a thread..lol

No mods boss; I'm still immatured enough to think, there's no replacement for displacement...old school fellow!
