Docos are not that complete; I've the said questions on my mind. Instrument SHOULD be connector to the wires to spark plug from ignition coil.

    • Yes the timing light clamp wire should be connected to the wire to spark plug cable from ignition coil. So what are the results Ganesh?

        • Right now my bike is running on pre-mix. It's a psychological feeling that I get from riding as if it has improved some initials.
Anyways, after doing about 100 kms or so, have taken a plug reading. Take a look at it and let me know if I need to adjust.

Why is the third pic looking different? To me it looks a bit lean. How is the engine heat?

                    It's the same plug.

Sorry, I was playing around the exposure a bit and that happened to be slightly brighter. The engine heat is not adverse. Offcourse, might not want to put my hand on the head to feel though. As I mentioned, for the time being pre-mixing fuel. If not for the third picture, does the plug reads good?
Let me know if you need more pictures(this time would not play around with exposure ).

                    • @Sri - Actamol is perfectly right; the plug reads good, which means the mixture is just right. But does that justify the sweet spot? I don't know.

Last weekend, I'd sometime, so I picked up my old Rx exhaust, got it sand blasted & chromed & fixed it on the same day. Man!!! the beat is so pathetic at idle & the sound is way too loud!!! Very embarassing to ride an Rx with that kind of sound

Here's the output & finishing of the chromed exhaust before fitting.

It can be because of two reasons.
                        1. sandblasting has caused the metal to thin out causing less sound suppression.
                        2. your muffler tube is fake or altered.

You mean the inner tube/core or the entire exhaust assy? I can give a thought on the latter, but definitely not on the core as it belongs to RX/RXG, bought from YMIS last year.

Sri has the same suggestion as yours that the sand blast might've made the sound very bad. I feel like soaking the exhaust in a pool of oil

We can experiment with RX100 silencer tube and see the result

Would suggest you to get some run to resolve the issue. I had also felt the same when I got my silencer was given some sand blast treatment last year. If you notice or not, after sand blasting is done, grunt tone emitted rather than loud, i meant depth! After you do 2 weeks of office ride would tone a bit.

On the lighter side, use loose 2t oil, best treatment to get carbon deposit even with little ride...lol
