I was looking out for a clutch & gear shaft for Rx135 5 speed (as I've 5 speed gearbox) & outright my question on the part was rejected . Looks like I'm going to enjoy the fun of waiting prolonged periods are going to start. Looks like YMIS doesn't ship the parts for 5 speed, hence the rejection.

Sorry pal, the sound in realtime & the recorder are completely different; the sound on camera is like the sound of bikes that appear in movies & serials.

That's the plate on which the tail lamp assembly is fixed.

The biggest headache now is to find out a clutch shaft & gearbox main shaft. I'm getting a straight "NO" on the face whenever I ask for this. Ordered a camshaft assembly now & I'm waiting for it. One good lesson that I learned here is, stock the parts if you're planning to retain the vehicle for a long time, very soon the parts will run out of stock.

                          Got a few more today

Just thinking of an idea, pls provide your suggestion. I'm thinking of getting most of the chrome parts with anti rust treatment (may be chrome again or may not be required - not sure). What do you guys think? Should I do that?

What if I buy a bolt nut kit for Rx100, get it anti rust treatment & then chrome it again? Or is there a way to harden the bolt nuts? Some suggestion pls?

^^ like we discussed on the phone. You can buy individual bolts, but better to buy of good quality and nickel plating done. Re plating will not give the right finish, and better to buy them as is.. cheaper.

chennai being a coastal city, chances of corrosion are higher. Nothing wrong in an anti rust treatment. Though a good chrome polish on regular basis will also take care of that. And no frequent washing of bike.

JD, actually I wrote that question stating "@@JD - question for you", but then...Thanks for chiping in again to help me.

Well, I decided to take your advice & identified a shop here in Chennai (actually a hardware shop) who sells good, quality bolts & nuts.

                                The problems are...
                                1. I don't know how much I need (no take back for sure)
                                2. What are their sizes? I mean, the length, the size (13/14 etc). Any specialities too I'll miss out
                                3. Do I need bolt & nut or only bolt or only nut

Or are you asking me to buy only for the ones the common ones exposed outside? I was planning to change the entire set of bolts & nuts including the ones inside. What's your suggestion JD?
