Hi friends i am restoring my Japanese heart beat into its glory and really short of OE parts so already sourcing from Japan, Thailand, Indonesia however there are some parts which you get only in India..... Back in 1980's the saree gaurd was a dealer fitment and he would fit it with an metal plate stating the dealer name. I am now looking for the following items
1. Saree gaurd with dealer plate ( new or old)
2. Butterfly cross bar
3. Rx 100 rajdoot indicator lens ( dark orange indicators)
4. RXZ 2T oil switch

Can any one please help.me with this?

1. OEM 1st and 2nd oversize piston kit. INR 2,000 each.

2. Minda switch gear. INR 650

3. Tachometer Pricol- INR 800

4. Tachometer cable. INR 200

5. Tachometer gear kit. INR 800.

6. Pilot lamp. INR 350.

7. LHS cover for 4 speee RX 135. INR 3800

Hi all,
Looking for original bore for my rx135, but should be running at max 1st OS i.e .25mm OS piston.
Either of 4s or 5s is ok, but should be original.

I knew about Goetze kits but does Mahle manufacture them too?

i don't think so, not sure if they have any collaboration.
mahle earlier iirc was actually 'escorts mahle' i.e. escorts jv with mahle. iirc oem pistons (including the oversizes) were available from mahle very long back (the last i remember purchasing them was in 2005)

the goetze kit, i think will be an ok choice in the current scenario.. i am just talking from one friends experience with this kit.

There are other factors that go into a successful build not just the block piston kit (e.g. crank / bearing/ reed valves/ carb/ clutch plates). So you gotta make sure every part is good (be it either reconditioned or new)

I came to know about it very recently from a friend who has used it and is pretty happy with it. Goetze/mahle are reputed oem suppliers and i am pretty confident these will be a good choice for the rx.. I am also going to pick one up (for future use) shortly for my rx100, cost is around 3500rs.


And of course you have other (sketchy) imports from thailand etc that are sold at exorbitant rates between 10k-15k (even at some yam dealers)

The Goetze made kits have massive casting flaws that need to be corrected in order to get optimum performance.

Yes, true that It is hard to get OE kits now and is also true that various brands of oversize pistons are available but I wanted to have OE piston and rings. I am already on non-OE piston now and also am not feeling good about the sound after rebore. I think that rebore was messed up. Just wanted to get standard size one for the peace of mind.


Is it the new one? (i.e still in the pack) or an used one? Please quote the price.Hopefully I can afford and reach up to your price.
