Exactly this is the reason for not considering Shoja for night stay. Even i am not sure whether we will be able to ride upto shoja on bikes as we are planning a trek to serolsar lake if it is accessible.Originally posted by Shivanshu View Post

At present even roads from Shimla to Naldhera and Shimla to Narkanda is blocked. The snowfall pattern is quite different this time and its severe, so whereever you all go just be careful as not to get stuck anywhere

We will take care of this thing and we will definately contact caretaker of RH in barot, representative of raja guest house, shoja and owner of shringi vatika in Ghiyagi before start to get the latest update on weather/road conditions.Originally posted by Shivanshu View PostYeah sure I will SMS you his number.

If you have any latest updates regarding road conditions/weather for the following route do share it here:
Day 1: Delhi-Kharar-Mandi-Barot
Day 2: Barot-Mandi-Aut-Ghiyagi( ride upto shoja and trek to serolsar lake, if accessible)
Day3: Ghiyagi-Delhi
Also as you are aware of the roads/route towards ghiyagi/shoja, do share the things/points that you think would be important for us to get aware of while riding towards that place.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH SHIVANSHU!!Originally posted by Shivanshu View Postif you want I can contact people at Shoja, and you can stay at raja Guest house, beautiful place and nice people. He will arrange for a bonfire in the evening and then dinner can be made on order as well.... you just need to keep him updated about your presence out there.
Current situation is quite bad with heavy snowfall, and in current days it will still be snowing so think about it and let me know if you need it.
We are actually planning this route via Barot and we've an arrangement to stay in FRH at Barot. The plan is to cross jalori pass, which is near impossible in this season, and i take pride in saying that its gonna be my third idiotic attempt in a row of three consecutive years to cross Jalori pass in the same season.
For staying in Ghiyagi; i would rather prefer Shiringi Vatika and m gonna call Mr. Manohar lall or Pammi aunty in a day or two for the necessary arrangements.
Now remains the stay option in Shoja; I agree Raja Guest House is the best possible option other than 'Banjara retreat' an utterly luxurious option and so massively expensive. actually i have stayed at RGH on two different occasions and it felt good.
Shivanshu bro plz conatct them (RGH) on our behalf and thanx for the favor in advance.

Though still looking out for Michelin Sirac 120/90-17(rear), it is not available in major shops in kbagh. Any idea
P.S: how about staying in FRH for 27th / 28th, it is located in Jibhi and just 2-3kms away from Pammi aunty's delicious food
We can stay there in FRH and ride down 2-3kms for delicious food.

That's ok with me, we can manage that...no issue!
i know a shop at karol bagh where you can get the specified tyre but i dont remeber the name of the Shop. this sardar ji has a vast variety of tyres of all makes and sizes. so what we can do....we can go straightaway to Karol bagh from xbhp dhaba this sunday and can get it done...if you want?

Thanx for the update shivanshu!!Originally posted by Shivanshu View PostIts snowing at Jalori guys spoke to them yesterday and hence more snow

Even i am keeping a tab on the on going weather in that region; but i am still hopeful to complete this ride with no extra effort.
Actually i am more of an adventure rider rather than the one who always or most of the times try and be on the safer side....for that style of riding and panache; our own city, in its entirety; would be enough for countless accomplishments.
For the last five years i have been undertaking such adventurous rides and for anybody's shock..... 'SOLO'!!
So it's all about your inner guts and will rather than loosing yourself in details; "bcoz in either case" you still cant be sure on anything (and this is what life's all about) life's so unpredictable.
Well sorry for the gyan but this what i made of, and that's purely my beliefs and none is bound to accept all this.Wandering re-establishes the original harmony which once existed between man and the universe...

Update: now we are planning to push off from Delhi on 25th night itself instead of 26th morning this change offcourse help us to avoid time run race for the day's destination and we can also enjoy the chill of highway night riding with considerable lesser fog too
.
Just to be on safer side i am considering chaila as back option for day 2 destination if in either case road is not accessible towards ghiyagi, I really dont want to get stuck between huge white walls just for the sake of adventure etc and hence dont want to left any stone unturn( to an extent
).
The motive of this ride of mine is just to relax myself and rejuvenate my mind, heart and soul in the lap of nature irrespective of any "boundations"etc which we are regularly encountering in our monotonous life schedule in one or another form.
I am just hoping for the good with due respect to nature and its characteristics.
Edit: Jatin please pour in your suggestions if you have any for day 2 alternate place.BIKING ??? " A RELIGION "

Thanks Sarab for the excellent itinerary you have made.Originally posted by SARAB_FI View PostEdit: Jatin please pour in your suggestions if you have any for day 2 alternate place.
Indeed the idea of night riding would help us cover these boring plains much easier without fog and probably the next day we defineately can make some better plans
.
Secondly, Considering this as more of an unofficial ride. So was silently sitting and watching over the discussions. and would really like to meet the interested members over a cup of tea to Discuss the further itinerary.
@Shivi Bhai: Thanks a lot for your valuable input
@All: Thank you all of who who have made their valuable contribution to make our ride fruitful.
