Well! It's serious!Originally posted by AbraKaDabra View PostDear Sambak I was so eager to hear from your. But you gave a shock.
Hope, nothing is much serious. I hope You will get well soon.
Sarab, congratulations for your successful trip.
In this whole process i got nothing but a fractured shoulder bone and damaged muscles...the good part of this all is that i successfully managed to return back home by my own....with absolutely no help of others!!
Now recuperating at home.
i am planning to leave for the ride again sometime in february.
thanx!!Wandering re-establishes the original harmony which once existed between man and the universe...

Quick overview of my trip:
1. 25th-26th Jan: Delhi(12.15am)-Banur-Bilaspur-Mandi-Ghatasani-Barot Valley(2.20pm)
>Kms Covered=540, Stay at PWD RH, Barot.
2. 27th Jan: Barot Valley(9.30am)-Ghatasani-Mandi-Aut-Jibhi-Ghiyagi-Shoja-Jibhi(4pm)
>Kms Covered=170, Stay at FRH, Jibhi.
>Managed to reach shoja and returned back just 3kms short of Jalori Pass. The inclination of the road is horrendous and its even more dangerous while descending back that too on ice layered roads.
3. 28th Jan: Jibhi(10am)-Aut-Swarghat-Kiratpur-ambala-Delhi(9.30pm)
>Kms Covered= 545
Total Kms= 1245

Dear Sambak,
You have all the time in the world to make a trip. But, frankly, February is too early. Don't decide in haste please.
I can imagine the nightmare you must have undergone after the accident with no one to look after there.

Unfortunately it's true!!
None was around to attend me; except two humble Newspaper vendors at a dhaba in Roopnagar; these guys tried their best to make some arrangements, so that i could reach back Delhi with no further complications...they were calling here and there to arrange first aid and mechanic...but as i said in one of my earlier posts, that it was Republic day hence the chances of finding a mechanic or Doctor was remotely possible. but still they arranged whatever best they could, they set up a bonfire and spread chairs around it so that i could sit and soak even if for the time being i was there. they offered me hot tea etc so that i could feel at ease.......at this juncture i truly feel speechless for their little but massively kind notion they showed in these times when even your truest of friends and nearest of relatives leave you in lurk in bad times......these guys truely deserve my salutation and i'll always be thankful for these guys and will never forget to meet them whenever i cross that Dhaba.....
And thanx to you too sir for the concerns and humble advice that you offers!
