Ever since I moved to Bangalore, I wanted to see Bandipur reserve, for its vast expanse of flora and fauna. No, this T-log isn't about Bandipur, but its outskirts.
Shall do Bandipur with the whole gang with at least 2 full days in hand.
Sorry for not writing in the usual form with teasers et al, that's not my cup of tea. Here's the full T Log at once!
Today, we (myself and Sid - plasmabhai) visited the hill top of Himavad Gopalswamy Betta about 500 kms to and fro from Bangy. There's a temple on top that we wanted to see. But, it were the surroundings that took our breath away.
Won't type much, rather let the pics say the thing. Also, the sweet body ache isn't letting me type much, but the zeal within me to share my experience ASAP wouldn't just subside.
We left quite early in the morning at 3:40 AM. Target - reach HGB by 8:30 AM, when the gates open for public.
During our first break around 5:00 AM.
Yes, that belongs to Sid, a proud owner of Dazzler 170.

Road to HGB. Have to mention, this is the good portion of the track. You encounter 30 kms of off road during ascend and descend.

This is how the entire stretch/road was. Glad that PSD lived through all of this.
Sadly, one is allowed on the hill for 90 minutes max. While coming down.

Yeah, this is my identity.
Just like marriages being incomplete without a fight, how can a trip be complete without incidents?
The RVM gives away during off roading. HMC needs to address this classic ZMR design flaw.
Luckily, we managed to find the lost nut (I saw it falling and Sid helped me find it. Actually he found it) and fixed it with the bike's key. I didn't have the correct allen key size with me.
Later, it was fixed properly at a mechanic.
Now, a few birds in the lake.

After having fun behind the camera, we'd to ride back home. Took plenty of breaks both ways.
Last stoppage before heading home. Cafe Coffee Day.

However in reality the clouds were so beautiful and mesmerising that our pictures just could not capture their beauty...
