At the outset, my respect and salute to your fearless and inspiring endeavor to attain the difficult, Sir!
The narration was extremely gripping, and so was the sequential photography. The story composition is comprised of fascinating facets pertaining to triumph defeat, ice age, brush with death, tent, sleepless riding, upside down truck/lorry, water crossings and many more. Your adventurous trip has triggered the reaction of touring virus in many - more so because of your age.
This tiredness is temporary and very soon you'll find it hard to control your urges for touring once the silent times become monotonous. However, I would suggest you to upgrade to a higher displacement with proper touring comfort.
All the best Sir, & thank you for sharing this wonderful story of yours with us.

Should I hang my Gloves and quit riding motorcycle for long trips ? No
No need to do that. Just have more rest stops along way. As they say slow and steady....
2. Should I ride Solo or in Group ( If you say I continue riding)
Depending on the mood. Maybe a bit of both as they both have their own positives & negatives.
3. Should I go in for a higher CC bike in addition to my present Suzuki GS 150R ? Yes / No
Hard to answer this. Maybe an Enfield Bullet or something but it doesn't matter what you ride..as long you as ride!
Glad that you got home safe and sound but if it was me, I would have stopped somewhere along the way before making that last 200 kms home.
But...an awesome travelogue Sir! Keep it up!

The main purpose of my writing T'log after a ride is to motivate people like you to go for rides and explore as much as you can. India is a big and beautiful country and by reading responses of you like riders, I think I have achieved the desired result.
I am still not clear about my future plans but most probably, I will not Quit for some more time and might come up with something bigger next year.
Wait and watch and continue writing your responses as they do help the Rider in continuing his endeavor. As I believe that NO RIDER IS BIGGER OR SMALL. EVERYONE IS EQUAL and it really helps in motivating and continuing his passion when he gets response from its readers.Last edited by Hoodibaba; 09-04-2014, 02:28 PM.

Hoodibaba sir
After reading these 11 pages I am speechless, dumbfounded and dazed. I an sitting in the office and cursing myself for not having done something like this.
Sir, your tlog is not just collection of pages but its a power source for thirst of adventure, life, endurance, motorcycles and everything in between.
If I am ever to do a solo like you have done it would be purely because of what I have read here.
I don't have words to express my respect. All I can pray for is that you get back on your zuki and have some more adventures. It would be safe say you have lived life and than most of us could ever live.

Thanks Siddha Raj. Besides learning from my own experiences in the field, I wish people get motivated to explore our own country. Through comments of readers like you I think I am doing my bit the right way.

Though I have not fully recovered and am wearing Neck Collar constantly, but being a Rider, I with three riders would be riding to Chakrata-Hanol-Hatkoti-Chansalpass from Delhi on 2nd October to 6th October. May cross Dehradun. You may track our ride on 1st evening or 2nd October and if possible, I would be very happy to meet you in Dehradun near Ghantaghar or Chakrata Road. Give me your contact number. Mine is 9958068681.
See you in D.Dun.Last edited by Hoodibaba; 09-29-2014, 12:07 PM.
