The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Every vehicle that is allowed to participate in any regulated and approved motor sport event has to be homologated with the FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India). The onus of the homologation lies with the manufacturer and he has to provide all technicals / specs of the vehicle to the Federation. The objective is to establish what is OE on the vehicle and thus establish further categories for that vehicle, dependent on modifications etc.

Group A is an open category in racing / rallying that includes all non-homologated vehicles of any capacity and modification-level. The inclusion of this category in any event is the prerogative of the organisers of the event.

I would come on one of these weekends. Have been quiet tied up over past few weekends. Next is Diwali and after that I will surely try to make it.

                  • Just came across this...as usual, a great log ken! I always find detailed logs supplemented with pics more enjoyable than the photo features. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but it can't describe the perspective of the person taking the picture!
And when these logs logs are written as well as yours, it becomes doubly engaging. It's easy to make out that you had a lot of fun and your prose (can i call it that?) gave it an infectious quality.
                    Thanks for sharing!

Wow! That is a neat complement that you paid me. Thanks! I will try to keep the standard of my prose absorbing... good to see that people still read.

                      • Went through all the posts and it was a super awesome trailing experience to read about.

I LOVE off-road enduro races like RDH. Just booked Honda Unicorn keeping in mind of its Honda reliability and mono suspension. Is it a good buy thinking that i want to participate in these kinds of event in the near future?
