Really nice ride... Love all your bikes.... Love the pictures too... I think the Karizma is looking nice... Jus had a question which i would like to ask... I see all your bikes are preped for offroading... I mean with the off road tyres n all... So i was jus wondering about their performance on normal roads... Was it harder to maouver them and how was the road grip, braking n all affected... I love the whole idea of dual sport bikes so wanted to know about the same...

Awesome Pics... not easy to adjust exposure in snow, but here they look mind blowing. Skimmed through the wonderful write up as i am at work. Will read word by word when home. Waiting for more...
Agree with the Lalu Prasad bit!

2. If the vulture is you, I will fight tooth and nail, but I know it will be a lost cause!
If you read the first part of the log of day 1 you will realise that with these tyres, the handling of the bikes at higher speeds on tarmac is really something to write about. The bike does not hold absolutely straight, both the Zma and the 220. They "seem" wobbly and less stable at 100+, even 90+ initially. Nitin even said that his bike felt like a tractor while he rode on tarmac. Mine did not much feel like a sportsbike either!Originally posted by prashanth lobo View PostHi Guys,

There is a question of getting used to it and breaking into... psychologically, mentally and physiologically! And then when you do 120kms of gravel and dust and loose pebbles and water crossings and wet pebbles and deep mud and slippery slush, you thank and love these tyres and the setup. I am glad that I got the change done and I am going to keep like this.
After seeing the way it rained the last few days in Delhi before our trip began, I was expecting quite a bit of snow at Rohtang, probably not as much as we saw there, but quite a bit.Originally posted by Rockkyyy View PostAwesome , I am excited. Why don't you participate in the SMC? We are making a team. I have been made the team manager! The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

The snow experience was exciting no doubt about that! But the best part started 2 days later... when you miss out on one, you try to something else! After all we were three people with three bikes with time on our side and enough to eat (Nitin made sure of that).Originally posted by Aryan View PostAh! The thread is finally here. Never mind Chandratal, THIS was good enough (even better, probably) for all of you I suppose.
Thanks for sharing.
P.S: God knows why, but I cannot see a single picture posted in the thread.

LOL!! Thank You for the appreciation but it takes not much knowledge to judge that bike's capabilities from the looks itselfOriginally posted by ken cool View PostYes, that was a slush fest indeed!
I see that you are quite knowledgeable. You got the TTR bit bang on!
[QUOTE=nitinjit;294700]Gosh thats really really scaryOriginally posted by ken cool View PostKen: Tu kitna exaggerate karta hai…waise huge vultures are known to swoop down and pick up humans who are light enough...58 kilos to be precise!

Nice stuff! I like the mod on the 220. I have always wanted to get rid of the typical Pulsar dome and get a nice big round headlight on my 200. I would want to discuss this with you at a later point of time.
Are the tyres behind CEAT?sigpic

Wow what a trip so far....
Vivek Bhai - Your TTR looks amazing waiting to have a close look at her and its great to see you riding again.......hoping to meet you soon
Nitin - So the Karizma did what you wanted it to do. And yes with all the practice I am sure you must have given a good competition.... it seems like a fun filled and random tour where you guys went till the road permitted and then looked for another destination...waiting for more brother.
Ken Da - the pics and your words are as usual amazing....and the trip seems to be more happening then it looks on this thread isnt it.
Now I am sure you would be coming for more practice isnt it
waiting for more

Jejus! So you guys were going THAT far.
@Ken: does it remind me of a man named Krishnendu riding the Kinetic Blaze like a whirlwind and Blazing past all machines on the road somewhere in the Himalayas in 2006. Boy do I remember that moment, you rode like the devil possessed you or maybe all the mad dogs in the Himalayas were behind your tail (Choose One!).I was not one to give up easily. I started going after Nitin. But he was riding like a maniac and I was not getting any closer. He was riding off in a trail of dust. On the straights I was doing close to 80, I was hoping that I would catch up. It was an illusion that I was chasing. He made Chhatru Bridge in 26 minutes, just a few minutes more than Vivek’s fast time. I managed to catch up when he had stopped!
Amazing, amazing journey, and all that snow is just so inviting. More!
