      DK just apply for it... technically speaking NO ONE can deny your leaves if you have them accumulated... so justy do it! Waise bhi appraisal hogaya hoga!

      Else start publishing source codes on xBHP :P they will give you ONE long leave

          @Spiderweb: Am in for this and as u know am keeping all the discussions offline and hence din't confirm it anyways just a request to all you senior guys, can this be post-poned after June 4th??

              My dates too confirmed then... 29th May - 18 June with 2 buffer days included.

              its the same as yours with a little improvisation. Only thing not included is Shimla, instead we stop at manali & we get more days around Leh-Ladakh.
              Its made with input from Rachit, Razor, Kurt, hydbiker, Ananz & others...I'd prefer if we follow this one. We get 2 EXTRA days in Leh with this plan. It'll be better to spend more days around Ladakh rather than roaming Shimla, which is easily accessible anytime. What say?

                  Only way way is that you put your bike in train from Srinagar & catch a flight to Pune...

                    As of now 3 people ar with confirmed dats (plus Hydbiker too)

                    Inder, make a small trip plan, its not impossible to make it a 15 day thing! but that would obviously mean that you skip some places and stick to trains for transferring the bikes and all!

                    @Spidey: Beru: I really want to catch up a bit of Punjab, especially the Golden Temple...? Gopis plans had that covered.... would we be able to do so to?

                      Even I want to cover Wagah Border n Golden temple. We can take one buffer day out & stay there in Amritsar, so that makes our return on 17th june, 18th is the buffer day

                      EDIT: One day stay at Amritsar added to the intenarary.

                        15 June Day 18 - Amritsar - Wagah - Amritsar

                        Hull! Amritsar, Delhi then again Amritsar?

                        I would still prefer doing it on our way to Leh rather than on our way back...!
                        My suggestion would be
                        Delhi > Chandigarh \ Amritsar > Manali.... would we not have adequate service back up @ Amritsar?

                          This will make 1 stay at Delhi & one the very next day st Amritsar, we dont need 2 back to back stays IMO.
                          We ride from mumbai-Delhi n take a day off for rest n servicing.
                          Same we should do while coming back, one day off at Amritsar for rest & sightseeing, IMO

                            The visit to Golden Temple & specially witnessing the show at Wagah BOrder is going to be absolutely worth it guys. Just dont miss it. You will be extremely thrilled & would be much more attached to our Great Country..!

                                I really have no idea about this man. May be other experienced guys can help.
                                We did Leh-KhardungLa-Leh & returned by 4pm. Just 60kms one side. Not sure about the places further
