@Motor, Cosgeo: You guys start riding on 29th MAY, 3PM from Fountain Hotel at any cost. It should hardly take you 10-12 hrs to reach A'bad.
Your schedule:
30th May : Ahmedabad (557 kms, 10 hrs) stay over & sleep for 6-7 hrs before riding.
31st May : Jaipur (649 kms, 15 hrs) stay over & sleep for 6-7 hrs before riding.
1st June : Delhi (263 kms, 06 hrs)

@Alankar: You start with me at 5 pm, either on 29th or 30th.
Our schedule:
31st May : Udaipur (760 kms, 18 hrs) by 11am max we will be here. Take a lodge, Sleep for 5-6 hrs. Leave by 6pm max.
1st June: New Delhi (670 kms, 15 hrs) Should reach by 10am max. Meet Motor & Inder, head to my Masi's place. Take some rest.

@Motor, Cosgeo, Spider & Alankar: Leave around 7-8pm (1st June) & reach
Chandigarh (260 kms) by 12'o clock max. Stay over at some Highway Lodge. Leave by 5am max. Reach

Ok guys, Ive not been posting on this thread for a long time but Ive been following the conversation very closely. Im now a not so proud owner of Beauty & Beast, got my new P220 dilivered on Sunday.

My dealer did a superb job, his name is Kamal - 09819625389. If nyone wants to purchase a new babe I would recommend him. I told him Saturday morning tht I want a new P220 n Sunday morning tht tooo during Akshaya Triti wen he got the bike delivered, without charging nythin extra.

Enough of the AD. I didnt post my confirmation as ive not yet got the papers yet. Due to some reason Sai Service has not yet issues the Sale Letter widout which the registration cannot be done. Also the bike is sold in Mumbai n the the passing is to done in Thane, so this too is a small hurdle. All these things have stopped me from posting the confirmation on the thread. But now as Spidy has posted my confirmation, im happy to be a part of the group, but want u to keep a backup plan widout me.

By God's grace 90% of the prob is solved, jst pray for the 10% also to be completed in time.

@Everyone: My sleeping problem is pretty much solved but not 100%. U can leave me if out if u thing this might slow u down

If everyone remembers, last year the Mt Abu thread was growin in the same fashion. Itz the spider effect I guess.

I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but won't your bike still be in the run-in period and won't that put a cap on the maximum speed? Won't that slow things down a fair bit?

Am sure he would cover 1200 KMS atleast b4 the LEH ride and anyways he's servicing his bike this Saturday.
@COS: If you are too busy to complete the run-in.. then lemme make myself available for it

No he won't I think.. I have his saddle bag, knee guards, gloves, one more complimentary protective gear! (kaun?)

Alankar don't worry about this guy... i've done almost all my rides with him. Our group is now complete with him!
and AFAIK, his new bike has already done 500kms, so run-in won't be a problem.
I just hope the registration happens smoothly on time.

Is it? Can me and motor leave on 27th and have a slow ride to Delhi and click loads of pictures along the way along with detailed blog notes? Is someone ready to strangle me for suggestion yet-another-change-in-plan?

And you couldn't tell me this when we discussed this very same thing on the phone??!!!
