Thanks for making the groups. Are the groups made on the basis of riding style and ability of each rider? Unless all the riders from each group are more or less matching in riding style and ability, the group would not be coherent. From what little I have observed and discussed with some senior members, riding style of Spidey, Alankar and Moto are absolutely different from each other.

If the above groups are final, which group you consider as slower and should move out first? Since aman will be handling cash, he needs to be the last person to leave from any place.

@ kurt - thanks a ton for the effort.

BTW, permanently borrowed a brand new foot pump from JAKRAP. THANKS JAKRAP.

Well, Me & Alankar are very much comfortable riding along each other. I had personally experienced his riding when I was pillion on MahaB ride with him. As far as Me n Motor goes, we have done too many rides together, so the best part is atleast I can adopt their riding style (done that quite a few times) if they cant adopt mine.
Aman on the other hand I guess have not done any ride since long & his last rides were with me around, so I guess I'll be very comfortable riding along with him.

I agree that we 3 have different riding styles, But my riding style hardly matches with you, Inder or Rudra, who is hardly a rider.

        Lets do a classification:
Spiderweb - ZMA-R : Am basically fast, even on ghats. Dont worry wont ripp on this ride though
Motorbreath - P200 : He is comparatively slow but agressive at times, need to be controlled or God knows
Alankarmishra - R15 : He is fast, though not on ghats & knows his limits n stuff.
Aman_pulsating - R15 : He is moderate, not too fast neither too slow.
Inder.cool - ZMA : He rides a lot slower than me, except in Lavasa, where am too careful to ride fast.
trustVishwas - FZ16 : You too are a moderate rider, but considering FZ, you'll be a lil slower.
Rudra - Avenger : NO IDEA, I hope he is a sensible rider

So with this we can shift either Motor or Aman in any of the groups. Inder will be too slow for me & he needs to be with Rudra, whom only he knows.
I'll be responsible for GROUP 1 & Vishwas will be for GROUP 2.
Also, I dont want SMKERS in my group & I suggest N SMKING in Leh ride or AMS will hit you fast.

No smoking is not a possibility for me. so I suggest we keep both the groups apart by a distance of at least 5 km.

          • Damn how can it just slip from my mind?! Guys, I have a foot pump, so if you want to borrow it for the trip and promise to return it in good condition, you can take it. If you want it, Pune riders PM me so we can decide on the place to meet. However, in return, you have to bring one spare form for obtaining the permits in Leh

Also, try taking the cash in money belts. Google for it. Don't buy them, just go to any taylor to have it made in good sturdy clothes. Even your relatives/mom can make it, very easy to make, and very handy.

As long as it (smoking) dsnt slow the Ride, am OK with it.

                YOU ARE FAST:
                HINTS:

                1) you ride a Ninja.
                2) 160kmph & waiting for more.
                3) I don't like people RIDING FAST.. Thats the reason i OVERTAKE them.

                  .
Actually I have touched 170kmph on ninja once but didn't bother changing the signature. Have also done 200 on a track.

But doing 160-170 is considered slow for a ninja rider.

When do you get the bikes serviced.... also remember since its a fair chance that you would end up changing the route, may be you should cover Amritsar first and service bikes around the same area.

Why buy? Take the one from Animeher na!
You will not have any use of the pump later

Vishwas - Will give GPS, can you hunt down for a charger for it considering that the batteries would die every 7-8 hours and the charger would ensure un interupted high brightness display. (A mo'bike charger costs some 400 Rs, can also be used to charge your phones. Ofcourse another way to make money while on the ride )

My recommendations for group is Put Aman in group 2 and you should be fine.
He is a pretty sensible rider.

                        • Guys, if there is a possibility of getting a sponsor of 10-15k for the group and if it is for a noble cause, would the group be interested? It is still in extremely primary stages.

We will need to display banner in group photos and send copies of blogs and photos to the company.
