Actually let me put the words of the fella " People don't like the Army people much out here(50-50),and yeah by boots only the local can easily identify or make assumption that he is a army personal. And if unluckily you get into with some Anti-army person then he can cause you some real trouble "

^^That's what he told me,but yeah forgot to tell you i am also buying the army boots to take them to LEH

                          • if you guys are stopping at mandi, there is a very nice valley resort near the petrol pump.. awesome place and cheap too.. the resort sprouts out of the valley and in the night you can hear the music of water flowing thru with booze its ecstasy
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                            • Update: Rode decently long enough with Alankar, which involved patient riding @Traffic, night riding, a lil bit of offroading, ... did it to help him take the first plunge in solo riding and location hunting to pune! :P and then ofcourse a few tips and tricks of riding, braking and night riding...
This would help us a lot, purely because I would be riding with him till Delhi, and we all would be riding together.

That reminds me, has anyone (including you inder) seen your friend ride? I mean the last thing anyone would want to see is a small wheelie everytimes he launches :P

PS What is he riding btw?

Alankar is more of less all set as well, he has also got stuff for Motor!

Destroyed all the manuals on "how to make a Ride perfect". Just wishing the ride to start asap. Lets feel the freedom...

@Inder: Even i'd like to know Rudra's riding experience & the ride he'll be riding.
