            Loved reading through the log!

            And b d w, Thanks for recommending the Siachen Guest House on the other thread. For 300Rs. a night it was a steal! Wish we had another day to spare in Diskit.

                You are welcome. Only Aman would have entered to see this beautiful guest house. I would have turned back at the entrance stable itself.

                      Yes it was a cow, that to a small one. Infact she saw me and ran inside her shelter, that gave me the courage to walk past her!

                        Great log Vishwas! Very nice photos.

                        You realize that till now there are zillion of logs about Leh trips done in all sorts of conditions. After each log, there remains very few that is unsaid about the place. It is only the feeling and vision of the tourer that is different in each log. In your log, I loved this line most:

                            I am going from 28 Aug to 13 Sep this year, still some months away. Thanks for the Siachen Guest house info. Mostly will lodge there only.

                              I too turned back after seeing the entrance. I then sent in steve to look whats inside, guest house or cows dung
