hi guys ....
i am planning a Ride in the month of august.
Lucknow -- kanpur -- agra -- jaipur -- ajmer -- udaipur -- vadodara.
Vadodara -- udaipur -- ajmer -- jaipur -- agra -- kanpur -- Lucknow.

i am planning to do a SOLO ride. this would be my first solo ride and the first longest ride too.

i want to know about the road conditions.
is agra -- jaipur an expressway i.e two wheelers not allowed ??
what are the risks in doing a SOLO ?

i planned to close 1st day ride @ jaipur.
and second day i can reach vadodara easily.

i have searched many threads but unable to find any agra jaipur thread apart from grat indian ride one.

help needed guys... please reply.

guys , i am planning a tour to chandigarh n shimla next week.. i will be going with a friend of mine. This is going to be my first ever ride. though i have got all the protective equipment , is there any thing else i need for the ride? i hav an R15 and done around 3000 kms.do i need any other spare parts for the ride?

i am planning to take my pulsar 150cc ug2 on a long trip to the hills(delhi to shimla and beyond)
my two close cousins will be accompanying me on their r15 and enfield350.

my bike is not in the best of conditions and needs a lot of work done on it.
1. its wiring and battry went kaput some time back coz of the hooters, blinkers, horns i had added. thus i am thinking of converting the whole electrical system(headlights) to dc
2. also the cruising speed will be an issue as it wont be able to match those two bikes cruising in the 80-90's very easily so thinking about some sprocketing changes(sprockets n chain are 10k kms old so it was needed too)

any other suggestions would be welcum....ass i want performance boosts too without losing on the fuel economy as it give only 40kmpl

Hi guyz,

I am planning ride from delhi to manali and ahead to rohtang if weather permits. If any one has been to this stretch recently ~ plz advice on road conditions ... any info other than road conditions is also more than welcome

help for road condition/status

i am planning to ride (frm Pune) down to konkan, but dont know the road condition for pune-bhor-varanghat-mahad.

from mahad i will continue through NH17 till malvan; anybody travelled from that road please help.

Its pretty bad but very scenic.

pune-bhor-varanghat-mahad.

I did this route last weekend and found the road good enough except for 4-5 kms of bad roads.good roads to me are the roads mix of smooth tarmac and some uneven old tarmac with rare pot holes.
From Mahad to Malvan I am not sure post monsoon but till April it was good.

i went through this route, initial road was very bad, but after bhor it was in good shape, not much potholes, after getting into VARANGHAT, road was in good condition, very rare traffic, full decedent roads.

enjoyed riding through it. better xperience than m'shwar poladpur route.

followed the same route, found good, loved cornering through all the road.
very nice to ride in the morning. better than m'shwar-poladpur road.

There are ample of them depends on your choice. Which type of place would you like to visit?? ... Beach, Hill Station, Waterfalls, Religious place, places of historic importance like forts, caves, etc. This would help us to give you a precise reply

Also mention the distance you are willing to travel !!

My Dream Trip

Guys

Have a dream trip in mind, which is been quite long since I did a road trip also.

Chennai - Vellore - Kolar - Chickmagalur - Mangalore - Kasargode - Kannur - Mahe - Kozhikode - Chavakkad - Cochin - Kollam - Trivandrum - Kanyakumari - Kulasekarapattinam - Tiruchendur - Tuticorin - Keelakarai - Devipattinam - Thondi - Kottaipattinam - Adiramapattinam - Vedaranyam - Nagapattinam - Karaikal - Tarangampadi - Cauveripattinam - Chidambaram - Pondicherry - Chennai.

Around 2500 KMS, a complete triangle and 2/3rd of the entire route is on the coastal roads, both West & East Coast.

Any suggestions...
