      Great, thanks for confirming.

Will be looking forward to your test results. I'll probably change to the same sometime next week.

Well in reality it doesn't look thin at all. I really miss the metz.

I am facing one problem. Above 80kmph, there is a substantial rear end bounce. Will get it checked tomorrow. Seems to be a manufacturing defect in the tire.

Hi To Everyone and cheerz from Pune ...

I hve got a very imp query that I need to get addressed soon. I have a CBR 250R and I am planning for a trip to Leh later this month and looking up to change the tyres that it currently sports (stock ones).
What and which tyre type could be best suited for this trip and for later as well as I would like to use the same rubber later for my daily city commute as well.
          Any suggestions are much appreciated.

          Thanks

Look at the guy above and his duke 390 rear tyre, in tubeless its ideal for leh, front not quite sure, but they wond do you justice back on good tarmac daily runs.

dude people have done ladakh even on spenldor and rx100's.. just that the conti;s need to go away.
for ladakh and later use get IRC's . i am using dunlop rear+ irc front combo and riding to ladakh with the same tyre...

avoid psd's as they are soft compound and prone to punctures...

u are true guys and there are many such stories ... however, why I had this query is because the tires look apparently all cracked up and have gt more than 15 punctures already in them.. So I think its time fr a new pair?

Swapped the ceat vertigo sports with michelin pilot street radial. I was facing major rear bounce with the vertigo and the bike used to fishtail under heavy braking. The size for michelin is 140/70. Got it for 5k.

Till now I am completely satisfied with the tire.

This was bound to happen. Using a 120 section tyre on bike which came with 150 section (and as powerful as D390) was never a good idea.
Michilen is a good choice. Keep us updated on how it compared with the mtez.

Oh, so the Vertigo's were really bad. Was your riding confined to tarmac or did you ride on gravel and slush as well?

Well I won't say they were bad. I am the only one who was facing the problems. Other people are also using vertigo and they are happy. There might be a manufacturing defect too but I didn't want to take chances.

I did ride the bike in gravel but not for long. Hardly 5-6 kms and the tires are superb. In tarmac I would say they are okish !

I've heard of the fishtailing issue of the Vertigo's. Appreciate your review. Cheers and ride safe!

May be tyres were getting overheated due to the torque and hard braking force of the bike and hence fishtailing, you could be right it could be manufacturing defect or it could be some kind of suspension affect on the tyres, any how you have changed the tyre and that's the right thing.
