Vyde is the best tyre I have used till now. Wears out fast I must say, if you lean hard.
Anyways, if you want that bigger look
rear: Pirelli Dragon sport 130/70 (grips well)
front: Zapper FY1 90/80 (phenomenal grip)
There will be change in ride height, rear height decreased a bit than vyde. The acceleration would improve than 120/80 vyde.

Or smthing close to stock would be the stock tyres.
Zapper Fy 80/90 and one rear 100/80 ones or so. Never used them.

I would say try pirelli if you don't go off ride, but if you do you will have to compromise the grip for a bit harder compound.

For me, stock tires have been good for the front. MRF ZAPPER FS. Alternatively, give Zapper FQ a try. Same specs as stock, but with a better tread pattern. Comes as stock on new Passion.

I am using Michelin Sirac Street up front.. same spec as stock.. 2.75-3.00/18

I was told they are Tubeless but they are TT.. I am using as TubeLess and I have completed more than 24000 and left with another 2000 kms minimum of rubber to burn.. no puncture till now and perfect grip in wet and dry tarmac.. Other than that we only have Stock Tires available in TL..

I would rather prefer Zapper FQ instead of the stock tires Zapper FS... Air keeps leaking from the wall of the tire where it mounts on the alloy. If I fix it in some tire shop works fine for few months and then back to old stuff...

Same happened to the rear stock tire, hence changed the tire at 18K to PSD.

I was told the same by Michelin dealer but I didn't trusted them though it was sales gimmick... Didn't you face any problem like air leaking from the wall of the tire as the tube type tires are suppose to have softer wall than TT, hence I was a bit worried about changing to Michelin Sirac Street... What will be best size for the front wheel 2.75 or 3.0 for ZMR and what size are you using?

Hi,
I own a Pulsar 200 NS which has crossed 17,500 kms & today had my first experience of punctures with my bike. The mechanic told me to change the rear tyre as soon as i can.
Hence, I have finally decided to go for the tyre changes both at rear & front. Following are the tyres that I have selected:-
Front:- 100/80 MRF NYLOGRIP ZAPPER FX-1 {FZ V2 TYRE}
Rear:- 130/70 MRF REVZ {R15 V2 TYRE}
I request the Bangalore members to help me out on the pricing of the above tyres as I plan to go to JC Road this Sunday. Please help

Damn I just unknowingly downsized my front tyre[emoji35] ...tyre guy said I'll put 100/80 as stock size of 90/90 was not available but i only checked the spec yesterday and found out that its 80/100..only then i realized that is why the front is kinda oversteering now and bike looks kinda a high from front..the tyre is as fat as the rim tats all :Facepalm

Edit: fxxx even in the bill its mentioned as 80/100 only seeing it now...I thought the grip would be good as 100/80 was made for Harley street but damn this might be a splender tyre

Hi ankur,

Yesterday only I changed my bike's (r15v2) rear tire from shiva tire kundalahalli.

mrf revz-s 130/70 r17 for 3750 inr. I thinks its a little costly but nearby it was not at all available at nearby shops and I had to change it given the condition of my tire.

If you can wait for a week, snapdeal has same tire for 3100inr check it.

The rear tire of the R15 V2 costs about 3500 bucks. It may vary a bit in different states, but not by much.

I checked at snapdeal but couldn't find any bike tyres. They had only for four wheelers. You sure?

Yes the site seems authentic.
Also there is bound to be a difference of few hundred rupees in the price in different states, due to different taxes etc. anything below 3700 Rs is good.

Even I had posted a query but got no response. Anyway, I have a different query now. After going through pages I observed that there are many mixed verdicts for brands like Mrf n Michelin. So would just want to ask, which is better at making the product considering grip, reliability and vfm ?

Oh great! If possible, I will be going to local market for the tyre change. If I get a good deal then great or else I will go ahead with this site.

As of now average price seems to be near Rs 3,000 which is perfect for me :thumbup:
