    Thier wont be any problem using 3.25 in place of 3.00 on u r rear rim, M using 120 in 100 size stock rim & I dnt feel any prblm in My CBZ Classic

    If u really like Michelin M45 den go ahead & get it done..

    I have a TVS Fiero which is running on 100/90 size Tyre & it handles fantastic..

        • Thank you so much for the suggestions guys. Yes I would be using tubes inside the tyres. Michelin is a wonderful option, but for my kind of riding, it does not seem viable. I am very easy on the bike, and my tyres dont wear out easily. My front is OEM 8 years old TVS tyre, run over 45k kms and still has the grooves. Changing it as the rubber has dried up and i see microscopic cracks all over.The rear is a Ceat, running for over 15k kms and still has grooves. Changing it, cos its now over 3 years old and doesn't hold the tarmac that well.

          I ride mainly in city at avg speeds of 60-65km/h with no, tyre squealing red light drags or tyre screeching braking. Weekend runs on the highways at avg speeds of 80-90km/h.

          Considering these, MRF seems a good enough option for me financially. Even safety wise, I don't think its that bad, it has been on our desi roads for a long time now.

          Am I thinking right? Please advice.

            If u r going for Zapper C it is good.. go ahead with it.. check out other options as well I think Moto C & moto D also available in that size If u like them...

            But zapper C s a very gud tyre,,

            • Aite guys im having a small problem now. I put a 4.0x18 michelin m45 on the back of my rtr. Tire is runnin great...but its rubbing (i think) whenever someone sits as a pillion. I got it adjusted yest but to no avail. Help!! What can i do?

                Its touching the mudguard above.
                Get the mudguard out of its way, remove or modify the gap its your choice.
                Quench my thirst with gasoline!

                    How about the option of downsizing little bit, so that nothing scrapes. Just putting forward my opinion. It should not happen, that to solve one thing, you end up breaking something else.

                    Do post some pics of your bike specifically the tyre, tyre dam and mud guard areas. Might give us all a good idea as to what could be touching and what could be done. Never know, you could get a real good solution.

                    • @RedApple: Stiffening up the rear oughta be enough to prevent the tyre-mudguard contact. However, the ride quality will take a hit when you're riding solo.
                      Worth a shot before resorting to something more intrusive...

                        i just got the new tire...i dont wanna waste the 2800 i spent on it. The only time it touches is when someone sits on it or when i take a hump really quickly, otherwise its fine. Ya i'll post the pics tommorow or something

                        • Redapple, if the tyre still touches after stiffening the suspension, and you dont want to chuck the tyre, then you could possibly add like 1-2 cm of a metal block as a seat where the suspensions are mounted on the swingarm, could be done easily at a workshop where they can do the stuff neatly. Sounds ugly but you wouldnt want you see smear of rubber on the mudguards.

                          Here's a MSpaint depiction.

                          - The suspension clamp is usually welded to the swingarm, can be removed without damaging the swingarm.

                          - Be sure to be there while the weld is done. (entirely depends on the workshop) and have it painted immediately when it cools down.

                          If you plan to do this, just be sure not to raise it by more than one cm, would really make the saddle height a lot more, and handling would be affected.

                          That's all i could suggest

                            I am having EXACTLY the same problem as you are having ,
                            I also changed the tyre and this thing crept up which I am simply unable to understand . Then my mech told me that its the problem with the tyre but couldnt tell what , he told Dunlop ke badle MRF dalna tha saar ....
                            Now I dont wanna play around with suspension which would spoil the handling of my RX .
                            So if u do figure out something pls tell here so that I also know .

                            Was thinking may be there is some problem with the side wall height , which is a bit more .... there may be some callibration difference between brands. Just being optymystic , So would it help if I reduce the air pressure in the rear ? .

                            Although I am gonna try this but was just trying to thing or analyze would it work or not ... was also thinking in geometry and all sorta crap
