But there is a smaller version of the filter for 150 cc bikes that cost about 1600 i guess. Mine is a little bigger that costs about 2400 INR.
U wouldnt feel anything now, after a few months maybe Guarenteed.

And 25% increase in power? Gimme a break buddy!

And there is no filter labelled "For small capcity bikes"/"For big capacity bikes". All are universal filters can be fitted to any damn automobile.

Upjetting is upgrading your existing main jet in your carb to compensate the airflow, hope this video helps

A good upjetting can only be read through plug chops, check these links and videos too.

It will ruin your smooth, vibe free FZ. Still making the mixture richer, will help, but upjetting is recommended.

If u want to use the K&N to the fullest, u have to upjet ur carb. Else it s a waste, engine ll run lean and u will face problems.

UPjetting in turn would reduce the already low FE of the FZ.

Well said , I would also suggest you not to resort to any modifications in your bike till warranty expires for your bike. Because if you take care of your bike the bike will take care of you.

    Roshan,

Technically, any modification to your motorcycle that deviates from stock condition will lead you to lose warranty. IMHO, it is all in the hands of the dealer(service engineer/supervisor) man. Some dealers turn a blind eye to such mods while many make a huge hue and cry and dishonor the warranty even if they find a little mod that has nothing to do with the failed part. to be on the safer side, don't mod your bike till you are through with your warranty. even if you do, be prepared to revert to stock settings everytime you wheel in your bike to the service station for scheduled/warranty service. There are two kinds of K&N filters. the cone/pod filter and the replacement filter which usually fits into the stock airbox. So, I guess the replacement filter comes with that statement from K&N. Don't take it too seriously. The dealers won't give a damn to what K&N says. They will follow the manufacturers rule book to the T, especially when it comes to replacing parts on warranty.

is wat the website says.. btw, wat is tat quick throttle? is it of any use? any difference?
u only have to give a small twist with the quick throttle as compared to ur present throttle set up.but i doubt it wud fit in mine because the right houses the self start and head light switches which is not the case in the rx
