Recently, I ordered Dowco Fastrax Backroads Tank Bag [$ 117.99] with RevZilla and got it shipped to my son at Round Rock, TX, USA as my Cramster magnetic tank bag got worn out at many places. Yesterday, he brought it to Bangalore. Today, I mounted and tested it on my son's Classic 500 as my Thunderbird 500 is 360 km away. I am fully satisfied. I am yet to use it for a long ride. I will add more after that.

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
Hi Guys,
I saw this helmet bag online and am contemplating on buying one. Issue is when I go out I end up having to carry the helmet in hand which is quite uncomfortable and would prefer to backpack it. This occurs mostly when am out on the scooter as my primary helmet is HJC and i can't put it in the SR150's boot.
Here is the bag design am contemplating to buy: https://bit.ly/2Ew6AvT

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
You won’t find videos of bags being mounted on your particular bikes. What you can do is try to find a mounting video of GODS Triton on any bike and then figure out how that would be for the duke.Originally posted by faster View PostHello everyone,
I recently bought GODS Tritron X2 50L saddle bag for old duke 200. No instructions to mount it.
If anyone can guide it to mount on duke 200 perfectly or any video is there.
thanks

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
Can someone confirm if the Gods triton 50L saddlebags leave any room for pillion footpegs? Looking at them for my fz-25. If not, what other options do i have? Was hoping to have space for pillion, storage above 40L is not really a priority.

Anyone bought the Viaterra Seaty V2? https://viaterragear.com/shop/luggag...erra-seaty-v2/
I am looking to buy it mainly for city use and short 1 or 2 day weekend rides. Is it worth purchasing? Any comments on durability and utility?Last edited by siddhant; 11-02-2019, 12:58 AM.2013-17: Yamaha FZ 16

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
I bought one after the good experience of the Seaty v1.
It has been on my bike (R3) since a year plus and no deterioration yet. Taken quite a few rains and the insides don't get soaked easily.
What else... space is fine for a short ride with say a change of clothes or a DSLR with single lens.
The addition of the mesh inside pocket is welcome, but the double straps make it move around a bit compared to the v1.
Overall a great VFM product and must have for all I feel.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
I bought the Seaty V2 and have been using it for over a month now. It's great to hold a few items for short one-day trips and city use. I used to take a backpack to carry groceries but now I generally don't.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostHave you used this on your V1 Sarvajit? Any experiences much helpful.

It takes me around a minute, sometimes a little more than a minute to close all the zippers once I have expanded it. Neither very convenient nor inconvenient to close the zippers. Once in a while, the zipper gets stuck to the inner lining and I have to pull it out but most times, it does not.
Mounting is easy once you get used to it.2013-17: Yamaha FZ 16

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
So, a few questions. How well does the fixing mechanism hold the Seaty in place? I mean once loaded, does it sway to one side and start leaning towards one side, also does the fixing straps hold their tension after repeated loading, just so I get an idea. Sometimes the velcros can be a PITA. TIA.Originally posted by siddhant View PostNo, I have a CBR 250R.

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
So far, I haven't faced any issues with the Seaty swerving to the sides after being loaded. There are no velcros, this has a D-Ring system so you can tighten it to hold it in place. I have taken it on not-so-good roads and it performed well, to my satisfaction.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostSo, a few questions. I have gone on short trips with it just thrice and so far, I haven't got a chance to load it fully. Once, I carried a full 1 litre water bottle and I couldn't get to load all the items evenly in the bag. But, it didn't cause any issue while riding.
I feel the bag is a good & compact product and serves its purpose pretty well. Sarabjit has been using it longer than I have, so his opinions will be more valuable.2013-17: Yamaha FZ 16

Re: Universal: Riding Bags/Luggage Thread
Exactly what I wanted to know. So, these aren't velcro instead use plastic square buckles, thank you for that. I haven't used both or seen one in person for that matter, as I didn't like the Seaty 1 model, hence wanted better insights on the V2 SEATY. I think I'll go ahead and get one.Originally posted by siddhant View PostSo far, I haven't faced any issues with the Seaty swerving to the sides after being loaded.
