My wife sat on the empty Seaty and certified that she was comfortable and did not feel any difference with or without Seaty.

Hi! Well, i rode to the mighty hills of Uttarakhand last January, just to catch some snow, around the village Mukteshwar!
It was quite a short ride of around 1500 kms, return trip. But had quite tough terrains throughout! Well, that's what the Himalayas is known for!
Anyways, coming to the review, this time I had a ViaTerra Fly Magnetic as my tankbag and ViaTerra Rapide as my saddle bag to mount onto my YAMAHA RX135!

Let's get it short & precise,

      ViaTerra Fly Tankbag (Magnetic):

I don't like tank bags. They tend to obscure the handlebar, slide around on the tank, sag, not to mention being an eye sore.
So, I was pretty specific that, I needed a bag that would perform utilitarian tasks keeping frequently required items such as sun/eye glasses, toll money, chargers, camera and a smartphone for navigation.
The Fly allows me to put my smartphone in it's detachable transparent pocket in order to navigate my ride. The bag is so perfectly padded, that I can ride at every terrain with no anxiety of my expensive electronics inside it, including a DSLR! There's also a free raincover to protect the gadgets across wet riding!
Mounting it onto my YAMAHA RX is like a hands-free job. The bag does not slip due its effective magnets and the smooth bottom doesn't scratches the tank, either.
Fueling is easy with no drama.
The Fly's construction is top quality and it's raincover is perfect too. Unlike other available options across the Indian market, it has an overwhelming feature, that it acts as a backpack too. Yeah, it is convertible, with just a couple of quick hooks!

      ViaTerra Rapide Saddle Bag:
It took me a while to find a saddle bag that has plenty of storage, durable and of course good-looking.
Personally, I find it the best looking saddle bag in comparison to other available options, it has a slick look, has reflective stuff on it and the logo is little.
Installation is hell easy! However, it is specially designed for upraised exhausts but I mounted it on my YAMAHA RX, which looked great and functioned well!
I crossed almost every terrain with no-inch movement, throughout the ride!
It is so durable that my wheel got caught in it for a while, although it was my bad, but the bag is still intact. I'm just glad that I caught it in time!
The Rapide comes with a set of rain-cover & features quality zippers from YKK.
If you're looking for something which doesn't looks just regular and functions hassle-free, then considering the Rapide sounds perfect!

Here are few pictures from the ride:

Does anyone have any reviews of Rynox Hawk Tail Luggage System? I am planning a long trip wanted to know if it would harm the handling or anything else on CBR250R.
Don't you think this is cheaper and better option than a tank bag?

          Hello Maverick,

I ride a CBR250R and i have recently got HAWX tail luggage system. I can safely say that you can go for it. I have tested it till speeds of 130Kmph and it was not causing any harm to the handling.

                1) rodgods triton S1( ~ 70ltrs capacity, 3.2k, with rain cover )- Dint get an feedback on quality
2 VIATERRA LEH SADDLE BAG- 3K , no clue about rain cover.
                3) Cramester STALLION. ( 2.9K, BUT NO RAIN COVER )
                4) NH4 Highway ( no rain cover)

Dude, you got the same helmet as mine LS2. Simple matt black rules..
The saddlebags you got are nice. I ride Unicorn (old model). Thinking of buying a saddlebag for riding with pillion. Any suggestions?

What saddle bag can I use on ninja 300. It should not touch the tyres or the exhaust

Well its best to try them out on your bike first and then purchase. Try these models
VIATERRA Rapide and Dirtsack Speed bag . Well am not sure if they won't touch the exhaust, as I said try them first .

                      Maybe this would help

                        Hi all,
How water resistant is the Via Terra Fly, Can it be used to safely store your DSLR equipment??
In the Package they do provide an extra water resistant rain cover, does that mean the bag as itself isn't water proof??

PS: I own a Duke 200 and plan to travel the Konkan region during the monsoons, this year..

The rain cover is included , so there is no need for buying it separately .
Well the rain cover won't be much effective during heavy rain .

                          Check these reviews

While accessories for motorcycle enthusiasts are aplenty, options for those who like to shoot pictures on the go were few. Not anymore, Via Terra brings a camera tank bag for all those budding photographers

First of all, if you want to have 100% water proof, then you've to take a car. The cover they provide is water resistant for sure & cover the top to some part of the bottom, but then, on heavy rain, water can flow through cover & reach underneath where its not covered. The bag as such is water resistant to an extent, but when there's excessive exposure to water, the water seeps in for sure.

The simplest solution will be to use Fly & use ziplocker to cover your camera which is not only 100% water proof, but gives 100% peace of mind also. Or buy water proof camera or casing

I know nothing is 100% water proof in heavy rains. What I'm hoping is for it to stay water resistant at least in intermittent rains.
And yes using a Ziplock bag for the camera does sound like a simple solution.
