are they waterproof or comes with a waterproof cover, coz websites does not mention any such thing??

I bought and used ViaTerra's The Claw on my cruiser - oodles of space, 3-strap tie-down which worked really well, with a stitchless rain cover. And it worked great as a backrest. Highly recommended.

Can't find a comparison of the two by search.
Can someone who have had experience with both viaterra claw & a pair of saddle bags give their opinion(pros & cons of one over the other)?

For saddle bag from runox, do check the link in my signature. For via terra, aargee has done a similar extensive review.
That should be more than enough to decide after reading the both of them .

Hey guys, I am looking for a smallish tail-bag. Carrying stuff in the backpack causes shoulder pain and thought having a tail-bag would be good.
Now there are two options which I have:
* Viaterra Fly GT
This one is small and has 16lts capacity. Retails at Rs 1700/-

I don't have any problem with having a smallish capacity.

From these two, which is better i.e. in terms of quality, durability and ruggedness.
(No prior experience with riding bags.)

If anybody has Dirtsack tail-bag, it would be highly helpful if you could post some pics of it.

Go for the Viaterra 16L tank/tail bag which retails for 2200. It has straps and pockets in order to accommodate an SLR and hence I feel you can keep the delicate items safe.

Go for the Viaterra 22L tank/tail bag. Retails for 2200. It has more space in order to accommodate an SLR.

Okay okay. Let me check that one. i don't need a big one. No long trips or anything like that planned.

BTW, abhi SLR wale din nai aaye

EDIT: the one mentioned by you is also of 16L capacity (same as Fly GT). It just has a special compartment for SLR cameras.

Any other options in small/medium size ? Rynox is too costly for me
