I believe Viaterra fly mainly focus on storing digital/SLR camera. And its accessories. You can use them as a normal tank bag also. I use dirtsack tank bag. It nice and expandable as well. You can also try Rynox optimus, they are more spacious and expandable as well. However viaterra calims they have strong magnets which can hold on to really strong. You can check out their videos on youtube as well. Hope this helps.

    Thanks

I did a fair bit of research and these were the best in the market. The flip side is that these come only for the left side, so the one on your right will have to be fixed in reverse.
Recently i fixed studds saddle box.
Finally Studds have listened to Royal enfields, now they also come in pairs

      • Lookign for a Magnetic Tankbag for the R15

Hi Guys! I'm looking to pick a magnetic tankbag for my R15 v1.
Looking forward to suggestions, especially from R15 v1/v2 owners.

PS: I have tried the Cramster Tutle, and it does hold on quite well. Wondering if there are better ones for the R15.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

ViaTerra. Look no further. Fly if you want more space, Oxus if you want compact.

Of course, there are other good brands like Rynox and Dirtsack too, have a look.
But having seen the manufacturing unit of ViaTerra at Hyderabad in person, as well as buying a few products, I am mighty impressed!

Magnetic tankbags can't be used on the KTMs and FZs/Fazers/R3s.
Bikes like these with plastic shell do not allow magnets to stick onto the tank.
They need non magnetic type tankbags.
Either tie up, or suction types.

Rynox Optimus-T will be the best if you are looking at capacity and stability as they also come with Strap tie downs to enable you to use it as a tank/tail bag +backpack.

Was looking for a tank bag to keep my DSLR on the move. Only to realize that my existing bag Lowepro 150 can be used as a tank bag on the duke. fits perfects with no movement during cornering and in triple digits. now just need a rain cover for it.

                      Hey guys,

Please suggest some saddle bags or tail bags for touring. I have Bajaj RS200 and my budget is around Rs. 3000.

I liked "ViaTerra Claw tail bag". It has good storage capacity. Please let me know if it is a good choice.

Also let me know where can I buy it in Gurgaon

                          Hey Kaizen,
The viaterra claw is perfect for a saddle bag.
Have been using it on the RS200 since a couple of months.
Haven't faced any issues as such. Pretty easy to mount as well

Saw ViaTerra Wolf but its capacity is less than Claw. I will go for Claw but thanks for suggestion

Yes, if you are not planning to carry a pillion, the Claw's space is unbeatable.
