I know others have asked and you probably don't login, but if you do please do let us know where you bought that box from. It is exactly what I am looking for. From a long time I am searching the net for something like that with no success :-(Originally posted by pitbull View PostUntil recently, i had a hard box installed behind the pillion seat - on a splendor carrier retrofitted onto a karizma - confusing everyone
Unfortunately, a Maruti Zen rear-ended me and therefore breaking the box.A lone amateur built the ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic...

Some thing from my side. Using the Cramster Tank bag everytime, its been three years and its perfect till date. Maintaining it after every ride. I own a R15 now so using it as a tail bag with the use of bungee cords.
EDIT- Yes you can corner with the tank bag being positioned on the tank. Let me know if you want those set of pics. I can upload them too. Me cornering in Lavasa with Tank bag, those magnets are steady and do not slip.Last edited by Eshan-P180; 08-17-2012, 02:30 PM.sigpic

I see a dearth of options of good motorcycle luggage/bags in India.
Only recently came across a non magnetic tank tag (for bikes like FZ, Fazer, 200 Duke and Pulsar 200NS) available in India: Optimus S from Rynox Gears. It works with suction cups. Anybody used it and can comment on its effectiveness?
Also at Rs. 2,999 it feels a tad costly.

I saw this option too in my list especially after getting the R15 but actually saying its not worth paying more for those bags when the same option is available in less cost.Originally posted by payeng View PostI see a dearth of options of good motorcycle luggage/bags in India.

Tankbag+Bungee cords 1850+75X2(safety)- Rs2000 and you end up paying a grand more for Rynox. The Cramster bag has special loops where you can insert the bungee cords through the lower end of the bag and it grips quite tightly.
The Rynox I had seen for a Ride to Tailbaila this year and found it to be small and with the DSLR, lens and clothes a big no no.
I had been to Amby in rains and mind you it was scary because while coming back i was alone and it was pouring like hell, zero visibility. I had the camera and lens in bag and nothing happened, all were dry. Just pulled the yellow rain cover, similar situation last year during my Kolhapur visit on Pulsar.
Here are the two pics of Amby Ride.Last edited by Eshan-P180; 08-17-2012, 03:16 PM.sigpic
