Re: Spark Plugs
You did the right thing - always get the correct part-number plug for your bike model . Clean the plug hole on the engine well before installation . Put a tiny tiny drop of clean engine oil on the threads of new plug . Seat the plug by screwing it in by hand as far as it would go . Then tighten it 1/4th - 1/2 of a full turn with proper wrench .
Turn off the auto-flash and turn on macro-mode to take plug pics
.
Yeah , even I keep wondering about that .Originally posted by sandeepcf View PostWhat exactly is the use of twin electrode? I mean the spark will always occur in the shortest path or not

Re: Spark Plugs
Could anybody help me out with spark plug part number for Avenger 200cc. Currently there is champion on the left and Bosch on the right. I feel this is not right. Was planning to put on iridium plugs and upgrade the HT coils and leads as well. But wanted to check with fellow mates. My DIY(s) - Sprocket bearing change | Paint job | Custom speedo dial
Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.
A good mechanic will let you watch even without charging you for it. |
It is funny to know that we've been imitated and copied so well and surprising when we notice our mistakes are copied as well.

Re: Spark Plugs
U have to get a resistance free wire, in some bikes the spark plug cap and the ignition coil itself also offers resistance, check for ur bike nd replace the same.Originally posted by Sird View PostI want to change to NGK Iridium / Bosch Super4.

Re: Spark Plugs
Ask someone coming from Mumbai/Delhi to get it for you. Best option. By the way, Karizma needs DPR8E-IX Iridium...Originally posted by Night_Shade View PostAnyone here knows where could I get NGK Iridium Spark Plug Model No. CPR8EIX9 in Jaipur..
