I met one person at petrol pump in Pune saying the same thing like bright light,50% fuel efficiency etc.
What I did was ,I told that person that I am purchasing it in 125 rupees but immidiately I will break it to see what is inside it.That person didnt sell that petrol saver to me.Within few minutes he and his colleagues ran away from the petrol pump.
But again at another petrol pump in Pune I saw different people selling it.Hence I pretended to be a convinced customer and purchased it.After coming home,I broke it because I wanted to see what was inside it.
I was surprised to see just a 50 paisa/1 rupee resistor having resistance of around 5000 ohms connected with wires only.Nothing else was there in that box.Hence it was like a less than 10 rupee item sold for around 125 rupees.
I was having this doubt hence I was willing to purchase it.
I showed it to one of my friend who purchased it and fitted it to his discover 125 bike.

So please pass this message to those who has purchased this petrol saver device. Also if any of your friend has purchased it,please open it and check whether you get same result which I got.

          Dear Aditya,
MSD Power cord is a wire of 50 ohms through which you will get little bit strong sparks but this will not improve the performance.
You need to do some more things
          1)MSD Ignition cable
2)MSD/any Chinese make booster coil(You have to take out your stock ignition coil and fit this coil). If it is from MSD,it will cost around 8000 and any chinese made coil will cost you around 3000.This booster coil boosts the intensity of sparks
3)Zero resistance spark plug cap from MSD
          4) High Lift Cams

If you do this, your bike's performance will increase but your fuel efficiency will drop tremendously.

Just search N1 Engineering Mumbai on google and contact Mr Anant Pithawala/Vinay.You will get details of MSD ignition from them

          Thanks and Regards
          Pankaj

          • Guyz, what is model no of NGK G-POWER for pulsar 150/180 is it CR9EGp or CR8EGP?

I changed the stock champion spark plugs and replaced it with NGK GPOWER on my p180Ug3 and suddenly mileage has dropped down by 5km/litr earlier it was giving me 40k/l.
Anyone else faced this ? i mean is it possible for the mileage to decrease on changing plugs?
or may be tuning is at fault? i tuned myself earlier and it i used to give me 40 k/l exact irrespective of ripping. should i need to retune it?

                  • These Iridium and MSD or any other power cords are completely waste! They dont increase your bike's power a bit!

                    • URGENT::::Has anyone tried using NGK Iridium CR9EIX spark plugs for their Pulsar 135? Is it true it will ruin the engine? Kindly post your experiences if you have used this spark plug. Also is it recommended to use the NGK Iridium CR9EIX?

I bought 2 NGK Iridium spark plugs for my Bajaj Pulsar from PlanetDSG last week, which set me back by Rs.1295.When I went to get them fitted in to my bike at the Bajaj service center - they told me this model is meant for the Pulsar 150 and 180 and they said it would cause problems in my bike and refused to fit it.
I then went to a Castrol Bike Zone center which is reputed to have very good and skillful mechanics. They told me the length of the NGK iridium is greater than the standard factory kitted BOSCH spark plugs and said it would cause problems if I decided to fit it to the bike. It would damage the pistons and the engine the mechanics said. I asked them to fit it and start the bike -- the bike sounded funny and they quickly removed the spark plugs and asked me to return them. I took their word since the mechanic who advised me against the NGK iridium and decided to fit the spark plugs into my bike was at that time servicing a Ninja 650.

Kindly let me know if I should go ahead and fit the NGK CR9EIX sparkplugs or return them to PlanetDSG?

                      • thanks for the info.

                        i have a question,
                        i have discover 135 dts-i.
i am using MGS from bosch till now. also i have used NGK in my standard 350 and thuderbird , i found MGS works better then NGK. it may be due to some duplicate Spark plugs also, i dont know wether it was original one or so, i got it in 700 bucks from mumbai.
now, i am a little bit confused that whether i should continue with the MGS or switch to NGK??

                        • NGK Iridium

                          Hi guys,

I recently got NGK Iridium for my bullet 350(CI). Initially everything was looking good, but yesterday when i observed, i saw black smoke coming from the silencer. When i checked the spark plug, it was badly fouled, full of carbon.
I tested the plug and it was not giving strong spark which could be seen easily, but i was able to hear some tik tik sound. The other normal spark plug is giving a spark. Do i need to change the wiring or iginition coil?
I think the dealer has given me a duplicate iridium, i am attaching a pic of the plug, can you guys please let me know if this is good or not
                          Plug - NGK Iridium
                          Model - BR6HIX
                          Using on bullet 350 CI.

P.S :- The bike is running fine, pick up is also fine, getting 27kmpl.

CR9EIX is recommended for Bajaj XCD 135 and Pulsar 135 on NGK's site..I'm too thinking of fitting it on my XCD...If it could not be fit on your bike, then most probably I'll not be able to fit it too.
What kind of funny sound are you mentioning??
