Please provide the link of Motul India's website!!!

300V FL has always been available in 15W50 format, as per my conversation with a sales exec. I met from Atlantic Lubricants & Specialities Pvt. Ltd. (who are the distributors for Motul Lubricants in India) , he mentioned that 300V FL is now also available in 5W40 format.

If you want I could PM you his number and you can find out their sales point of contact in Hyd!

    • Sorry, there was a typo in my earlier post & it is rectified now!

Praful... pls post the number here... so many people are in search of a Xw40 fully synth oil from Motul. After the recent change in Motul's websites to flash based content they are very centralized and navigation is not the same as it used to be...

for a P200, I believe it is... there are other references you can get in this thread... Valvoline Premium 4T 20W50 Semi Synth is another option and costs lesser than the Motul... but I believe the Motul is better among these two.

                • Hi Guys,

Which is the best engine oil for Pulsar 220 - I am interested in fully synthetic oil. Also if you can give me contact details for dealers in Mumbai then it would be grateful.

                  Regards,

                  • @kailsahnj : Motul 300V 15w50 is what i've got for my 200.. However its recommended to shift to the Motul after a sufficient run in period with the normal oil first.

For mumbai call these guys @ Sewree, they offer to deliver it to your residence as well if you need :

                    24102699
                    24181743

cost is 1450/- incl taxes for 2x1L cans (no 500ml or less cans available yet)

                      • Hey guys,

I have a 4 year old Activa. I want to change the oil from Honda oem oil to some other brand as i feel the engine is kinda rough. Its oil rating is 20w40. Can semi-synthetic oil be used in it? If not, then in mineral oils, shell advance, gulf pride plus 4t, motul 3000 are my alternatives. Which is good out of the above ones? I even read that yamalube is good. Is it available in yamaha svc centres? Please help me out guys. I am desperate for a change in my Activa's nature.

YamaLube is pretty good. You can get it at Yamaha service centers. Honda Oil is also pretty good. In fact, I don't find a reason to shift from it. Motul 3000 is also good but the gear shift didn't feel as good as the Gulf Pride 4T Plus...dunno why! but anyway Activa is gearless! Now, the gulf is fantastic. It is Semi Synth for price below mineral oils and is just lovely oil. Engine is smoother, gear shift very slick, drained in my Victor after 4K kms and still very good.

But then, I suggest you stick to the Honda Oil itself.

                          • Srinath gulf pride plus is pretty good its a semisynthetic oil, it can pretty much withstand till 2.5 to 3k kms.
