      Pros:

No sign of wear in the oil till date, oil loves to be revved, no problems for highway runs, throttle response is crisp, engine runs silent.

      Cons:

Engine heats up in city traffic or stop go traffic, handle bar vibrates for sometime after the bike is kept idle for few minutes (irrespective of how many kms you have ridden), gear slippage (during downshifts).

      Cheerz!!
Agreed...i used that on unicorn soon i am planning to change to Gulf pride 4t 10w30 or any other of 10w30 grade

For now here is veedol take of 4t quick expirience

Pick up is super (better to honda own oil)
      Smooth engine run
      Increased throttle response
i felt Handle bar vibrates during idle state (not a big issue)
      But never expirienced slippage

Update : i also confirm heating issue after about 1000km of putting veedol today i had to drop some one who stays about 2 kms from my place to my surprise after coming back i touched engine and felt like it had driven some 50 kms it was hot enough to damage ur finger if u had kept finger for few more seconds

Pls suggest good oil for uni from your POV

      Thanx

Is it ok to use mineral oil for the first time? And I heard of 20w40 mineral oil, is there any difference between these two and which would be the best ?

Yes, mineral is suggested at least for 3-4 drain intervals. If you're referring to 20w40 Motul 3000 4T Plus, then remember you've to go an extra mile to

            - purchase 20w40 Motul 3000 4T Plus yourself
            - change the oil at local-mech or yourself coz you might have a hard time convincing SVC to go with 20w40.

Instead go with Suzuki recommended oil for few drains and you can think about other options later. There is hardly any difference between 10w40 & 20w40 Mineral to rider, except cold starts in winter are easier with 10w40.

PS: Try to be present @SVC service bay when they're working on your motorcycle just to keep neglects in check.

But in a motorcycle where 20w40 is used, lets say Splendor, a 15w50 oil would circulate very slowly and cold starts would become dangerous. It may not circulate at all in some cold areas.
I thought 15wXX would give easier cold starts when compared to 20wXX engine-oils. Or did I get it wrong from reading.

While downshifting, sometimes the gears wont engage properly. So, i have to throttle a bit and downshift again.

                  Cheerz!!
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

You have to see the wXX part also. A 15w50 would be slow circulating than 20w40. And if the motorcycle is not designed to use heavy oils like the splendor and other 100 cc bikes, it can be suicidal.

Guys keep it simple XXwXX, the first pair of XX denotes the viscosity of the oil at lower temperatures, and the second pair of XX will denote the viscosity of the oil during higher temperature. So the lower the first XX, the better it is for cold start, and the higher the second XX, the better it is for the engine while running.

It's not so simple when wXX is different.
Which oil would have lower viscosity at 25deg C?
                          10w60 or 20w40?
                          The answer is 20w40.

Got it, I knew before that 10w60 & 20w40 will cross over each other, but never imagined as low as room temperature(~25 0C).

Also thought 10w30 & 10w50 should have similar cold profile, which was wrong.

                            Thanks

Which oil would have lower viscosity at 25deg C?
                                10w60 or 20w40?
                                The answer is 20w40.
