A once a year or so flush is enough. Get a simple 3M flush for 110/- odd off Amazon.

And will it be as straightforward as draining the bajaj oil and pouring the motul ? Or should i do an engine flush before changing oil brands ?

Engine flush is not required, just change oil at regular intervals!! If oil change are not changed in regular intervals then would recommend engine flush!!

The Duke can use any MA or MA2 oil as long as as the W50 grade is checked. 10w50, 15w50, 20w50 are all recommended. Stay away all iterations of 300V and the oil the SVCs use are 7100 which I'd recommend too and which I'm using. Best bet!

          Cheers!

          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Though we have many distinguished brands, OE factory branded oils, rarely we seek to venture out of this. Most of us know, Motul, Castrol and Shell etc, but we do also have Repsol, Fuchs, Ecstar and Idemitsu. Idemitsu is a very very reputed brand from East Asia. They have simple yet thorough list of MS/Scooter oils, and I'd suggest people to try it out too.
Bike Engine Oil - Indemitsu India is a leading manufacturer & supplier of bike engine oil, scooter engine oil, synthetic bike oil & other two wheelers engine oil. Ask for price & details.

                            Cheers!

There are too many "ols and ols" out there there bpk
Castrol, savsol, veedol, adital, sharlu, too many local mom and pop shops, I just can't think of, selling their own rebranded oils. The reason I've posted Idemitsu here, they have a great reputation for being excellent heavy engine oils. Plus them venturing into two wheeler only expands the horizons for potential buyers instead of Motul. Motul has branded itself so well, that's it's almost a monopoly when it comes to upper higher CC bikes. Well, marketing does play a role, but then there are unsung heroes like these.
