I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

        Hi All,

I'm looking for a helmet within 7k with speaker pockets for BT Intercom. Any suggestions apart from MT Blade?

Avoiding Blade due to the internal visor, which tends to get loose over a period of time.

        Thanks!

Smk helmets has speaker pockets for bluetooth connectivity. Also they are going to launch their dedicated bluetooth devices in near future.(maybe it has launched,i don't know) helmet cost is 4300 and approx bluetooth kit is cost is 3k as per information by smk official. It also comes with internal sun visor, but it can be easily detachable and kept aside. I've confirmed it at the time of buying they show that sun visor is removable. Helmet is Value for money, rtake a look at it.

          I've just finding below problems.
1.Helmet is heavy, it is of 1450 gram.My previous studds helmet is just weighting 800 gram or so so it's heavy. But, after several days of usage, I assume that I will used to it.
          2. Several sizes are available but only internal cushioning changes and external shell remains same.
          3. Comes with pinlock visor but it prones to have scratches easily.

Take a look in stores and choose accordingly.

              Thanks guys!

I was not aware of these two brands. Have to search for these in Bangalore.

Guys what are your views on steelbird air series (Steelbird Graphics Helmets) and the shifter from studds (Studds)

i haven't visited any store yet so i am supposing they will cost less than the price displayed online, any idea about the market price for these helmets?

Which one is better and anything else i should consider in the sub 2.5 range ?

Also, i had a helmet(aaron) earlier which had a black visor, though it looked very cool but visibility was shit when it got dark... i was just beginning at that time so was a bit ignorant.
Other brands' helmets with black visors are better off in dark or is it the same story for all black visors? or should i go for a white visor only.

Even I have some interest in these Steelbird Air helmets. But if you are going to spend 2-2.5k, why not get a THH or MT that has better certification?

These lids don't mention Dot or Ece anywhere and are most probably the standard ISI marked products. But they do look good and the quality seems to be in another league, compared to their older ones.

Black visors are just like, you guessed it right, sunglasses. It is the same with any dark tinted glasses or visor. They are for day riding to cut back on the sunlight, glares and reflections. You should use a clear visor when it's dark, for obvious reasons. Get them both and change as required.

                    Cheers and regards,
                    Safe riding! ✌

Go for studds shifter,it has sunglasses so you can use clear visor with sunglasses combination. Also there are various designs available. Also extra visor cost only 200-220 rs so you can buy extra smoke/mercury visor if you want too.

                            • LS2 Vector(FF397) retails for 9000/- but on imported for 2200/- !!!

I am currently looking for a helmet to buy. I have chosen the LS2 vector (FF397) costing about 8500/- to 9500/- on various sites.
While searching I came across the import/export of LS2 vector on https://www.zauba.com/import-ff397/h...0-hs-code.html.
It shows the cost of 1 unit as 2190/- when importing 60 units and I am paying 9000/- for that!!!. Is that for real!!!
Can you please help me justify this or am I understanding something wrong.
                              Thanks
