Re: Helmets
There is no such thing as a silent helmet a more aerodynamic helmet will have more wind nosie due to the direction of wind but it will be more stable. Even the Arai , agv and likes do have some amount of wind noise. Best option is to use earplugs.Originally posted by V 12 View Post

Re: Helmets
Wind noise inside the helmet depends on a lot of factors like helmet fit, helmet shape, riding position, height of windshield, direction and intensity of wind.Originally posted by V 12 View PostHello guys
I had a budget of 8k and recently picked up my revenge binomy but I really expected wind noise to drop as compared to my previous studds Shifter but to my shock there isn't much difference and furthermore apart from windnoise there is a very irritating whistling sound from speed as low as 60 if there are crosswinds and 70 if not. Please consider I ride a naked bike i.e dominar. If there is something wrong with my helmet or any solution to my problem
With that being said, helmets can be silent compared to one another, isolating more or less of the wind noise, but there can not be a saloon like silent helmet.
As Somesh said, I would recommend using good quality earplugs from Pinlock or NoNoise.
Even 3m ones will do the job, just buy the ones with a lot of cone flaps, they seal better.

Re: Helmets
True. But is there any other option too? I have a budget of 10k max.Originally posted by Ijs View PostNo getting away from this no matter how many air vents u have in this weather you will be sweating like hell. I am using 580mm studds rhyno in city and smk twister 550mm on highway. Best way to beat the sweat is to open all vents and crack open the visor whenever you can.
For city you can try studds shifter it is very well ventilated helmet.

Re: Helmets
I would recommend the Bell Qualifier or ScorpionEXO 390. Try them both, great ventilation ! Also HJC helmets have great ventilation.Originally posted by Ave2592 View PostHello everyone. Just wanted your opinion to buy a nice ventilated helmet for summer use. I am currently using a LS2 FF386 which is a modular helmet and summer time wearing this helmet is killing me.

Also, Axor has a helmet around 3500 if you can stretch the budget that much.

Re: Helmets
For a price range or 3k to 4.5k which is better among smk and axor? Are there any better alternatives? How much better are these compared to studd shifter. If it matters, usage will be daily city commute and occasional highway rides between 70 to 90kmph.

Re: Helmets
I would highly recommend SMK as it is much more value for money, since it comes with a Pinlock 30 shield pre-installed.Originally posted by kedar3223 View PostFor a price range or 3k to 4.5k which is better among smk and axor?
