Now Fitting is much better than Ninja which I used to wear. But there is onlly one prob. I like to listen to music when I ride my bike. So fitting the earphones is a bit problematic. But there is very low noise distortion from outside enviroment. The Visor has special coating. I can see very clearly. In the night also I feel very comfy, may be because of the fact that my Bike has very powerful HLs . But I am happy with it

Lookout for what standards the helmet meets, rather than just looking at how fancy it looks.
A more fancy looking helmet may be better for you, but i'm not so sure if your head feels the same way.

Thats the case with most cheap imitation/fancy lids you see around.
If they were of standardised nature, don't you think YOHE (or any of those chinki brands) would have registered with the manafacturing standards prevailent in their respective countries if not a DOT or Snell rating?

The unmasking of Dajjya helmets courtesy Sankar @ teambhp

This is an extract posted by Sankar on the following thread on Team-BHP - The Definitive Indian Car Community - Home
              The Riding Gear thread - Page 12 - Team-BHP

At similar price point, i'd just get a KBC/HJC/Scorpion!!!!

              Marushin Helmets. Japan since 1958

On 28 August I had emailed Marushin Helmets, Japan, asking if they sell them in India in the Daijya brand. I hadn't received any reply from them all these days and i had though that they wouldn't care to reply. But today as i checked my email i was happy to see their reply. And i am happy that i hadn't bought one till now

I'm quoting the email i have sent and the reply i have received:

subjectAre Marushin Helmets available India as Daijya Helmets?

              Hi,

I wish to purchase this Daijya Helmet. Please see the link: (link removed)

I'm told that Marushin helmets are being sold in India as Daijya helmets. I would like to confirm this from Marushin Japan that these Daijya helmets are indeed made by Marushin helmets and meet safety norms. If Marushin helmets are not manufacturing this Daijya helmets then i would not want to buy it. I have read good reviews about Marushin helmets in some European sites.

If these Daijya helmets are authentic then why is it sold under a different brand name in India?

Kindly reply, your reply would help me make a correct decision.

              Thank you & best regards,
              Sankar.

              Hi Sankar,

this helmets is a illegal copy and a very cheap fake and has nothing to do with the original Marushin-Helmets. Not in safety and not in quality.

              Sorry to tell you this.

Reading about Daijya helmets is a revelation... in fact, the most important factor in a Helmet is the shell... and people are goofing up with that...

I think, xBHP should take notice on this fact that they are cheap replicas... also, check with DSG who is one of the sponsors.

                    Sunny!!! MG!!! Listening?

Uh....... it sounds a bit like a SHOEI rip-off if you notice closely even the font and the background around this are quite similar

Sad to hear that Daijya Helmets are a cheap rip-off of Marushin Helmets, Japan..... very hard to digest it when I already own one... and seeing that they sponsor xBhp forum..... btw... some months back Bike India reviewed helmets available in India.... and seems like they never checked the orign and originality of the helmets (if the helmets are fake I mean ok).

But going through the quality levels..... it does not seem fake.... the helmets are on par with the rest of the biggies available in India.

And one more thing, I do not see ANY Daijya helmets on www(dot)planetdsg(dot)com...... actually they dont have the word "daijya" on their website now.....very strange...
