Haha. Now I will really second guess everything I buy. But really dude.. I think this might be the best LOOKING helmet you will get for Rs 1500. Or maybe even the best...Originally posted by dj_666 View PostI don't have a ride but bought a good helmet ! Safety first, Bike next !
Pranay and Bobbykick are gonna get me for this cos its the third in the family~!!(don't worry guys, mine is a plain visor
).
Got myself a rainbow visor initially but had to return it because night-time visibility was hopeless. I bought size 61-62 because I ride with a cap and the fit is good except for around the cheeks(as expected).
I stuck to my budget of Rs.1500/- and got it for the same~!!!(Pranay, don't kill me
)
Guess how ???
And good'ol me. I paid twice as much. That too after being duped and then going back.

Awesome lid. But I thought DSG had stopped importing Daijya.Originally posted by torq:unltd View PostHere are my two helmets. The first one saved me in a crash I had recently. Since thats gone I got a new Daijya yesterday from DSG. I dont really care about the controversies over it. Lemme know what you guys think of it!DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe

@ prajwalkashyap, sai_ace, chilled fire :
Here's the secret, I was just casually lookin around helmet shops one by one with no intention of buying.(because, I don't have a bike~!
) Then I would spot slightly old or scratched helmets and start bargaining knowing that dealers would be glad to get those pieces off the shelf ASAP. I would make offers so low that some were ready to throw me out~!
In one shop I spotted an AGV original which had lost sheen, he quoted 1600/- for it but I had to leave it cos it looked rather dull and was pretty heavy.
Finally, I spotted a GPR I liked with missing top air vents, dealer quoted 1900/-, I said 1500/- spot cash even though I had just 300 bucks in my pocket~!
Then, made a deposit and picked up the lid the next day. I have covered the vents with M-seal now but one can hardly make out. Would be glad to show you guys at the upcoming G2G.
Any Bangy guys wanna buy GPRs, AGVs, AMs, Cross or Vega I would be happy to help you out in getting bang for your buck. Just PM me.

My Newer-than-new Helmet
I was slowly riding down to office, when I passed Orion motors. So ...Thought of checking their showroom, and check out some riding gear. Went in, saw a spanking Daijya staring at me....now, at this point, I was telling myself, no way, Pranay, you just spent on a helmet 3 weeks back and who in the right mind would buy two helmets in a month?
....
....
....
....
5 minutes later I walked out with this....

P.S:- I'm broke for the rest of this month

Just go back a few pages you can visualize the whole storyOriginally posted by prafultripathy View PostPranay, cool lid man..
One question, who makes Daijya helmets orginally? Are they actually a reputed/respected brand anywhere else in the world?
