Any particular shops that are recommended? A couple of ppl mentioned Balaji (?) Helmets somewhere around Brigade rd. Is this place good?
What is a recommended brand (my budget is approx 1k +- 300). Any decent helmets available at this price or will I need to increase the budget.
Thanks,

Balaji Helmets is on Lalbagh Road before Urvashi Theatre. He has a good selection, but very recently, he had ripped Pranay off by 2K. I mean, he sold a helmet worth 2300 for 5000, and then after he went back pissed off, that guy reduced and agreed for 3K.Originally posted by beowulf View PostThanks Prajwal..!

@beowulf: I'd suggest you PM Dj_666 for an idea about helmets around 2K. But if you want to stick to 1K +-300 then i think Vega is a good option.DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe

Balaji Helmets is a cheat. Dont go to him. I brought a Vemar Boomerang 2.5 years back. He promised me visors if i need them. When I went there last year, he was very rude to me. He said if he had promised then he cant fulfil, and I'll have to buy a new helmet.Originally posted by prajwalkashyap View PostBalaji Helmets is on Lalbagh Road before Urvashi Theatre. No point in buying something from a guy who doesnt care if something happens to the product brought from his own shop.
If you buy something from him, buy it at your own risk.

There u go..... 3 very unpleasant reviews about 1 shop. So stay away from there. There are plenty of other shops that u could shop around for competetive prices.Originally posted by shark80 View PostBalaji Helmets is a cheat. Dont go to him. beowulf beware !
There are about 15 shops on Lalbagh Road, near Urvashi theatre.
Most of them have a good collection of lids but prices vary from shop to shop. Check out a similar models in a few shops and then finalize the best deal.
If you need any help in buying the helmet, feel free Pm me.4 wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul.
