Can any one from Coimbatore help me finding a good dealer for vega helmets?
I stay in gandhipuram. Here we have many shops but not much options to select from. They have only few.

I am going to buy a vega OFF ROAD HELMET. Will it be a good choice or should i stick to conventional full face helmets..

this helmet has seen 500 kms ride and purchased from bachoo motors mumbai.cost rs 4199/- . Rjays samurai. slightly heavy. but perfect for high speeds on my N250. aerodynamics are good.the helmet was very comfy to wear in very strong winds without strain on your neck.

chin straps holding is weak and u will have to twist in in for proper holding else it may come loose.

visor is good with no distortion/glare at night. yet to wear it in rains. approved for australian standards. reasonable buy for the price.

Hopkins Monster race replica is an outdated graphic - the new one is the Crutchlow edition. I bought my Hopkins from ridersdiscount a couple of months ago, but I came to know that they are now out of stock. But no harm in shooting them an email to ask them - the price of $430 for an Arai Corsair V is a hard to come by deal.

You will not find them in India unless an owner is willing to sell them to you second hand.

I bought a sparx torino a couple of weeks back, and I have some problems with it. The Helmet feels kinda heavy, also the field of vision has reduced a lot. I cannot back up my bike while wearing it as I can't see as much as I could with the compac aerostar that came with the bike. This field of vision problem is a bother while riding too, as I wear spectacles, I get even lesser field of vision as I need to look through the lens. I got another pair of glasses made specifically for riding purposes as I was recommended by some riders who wear glasses that glasses with "wire-rims" are better suited for high end helmets with good padding. Although the new glasses are better than the old ones, still they are not perfect as usually they rest between the padding and my skull while they should rest on my ears. This makes the glasses a bit farther from my eyes than what they should be.


Apart from this, I'm not able to wear the balaclava along with the helmet as it gets too tight and my ears start paining.

Another issue is that I'm not able to use my earphones while riding anymore. This makes the sunday morning rides kinda boring. Also I'm in kinda a rush whenever I'm not listening to music and ride kinda aggressively, while whenever I'm listening to music I'm on the cruising mode and ride slower. I use a Nokia 5130 for my music requirements. Should I get different earphones for riding purposes too?

Most websites are fake? Wow. What a generalization !!!

Have you heard of Google Search? Use that to find out if ridersdiscount or any other site is fake (search for the name of the site and its reviews).

Specific queries can be best answered by the customer support team on that site.

hi guys, sorry for interrupting with an off topic question. Is the rule of selling helmets along with the vehicle compulsory across India or is it only in Delhi?

I read somewhere that the high court of Delhi made this a law and SIAM challenged it and moved the SC. But SC went in favor of HC.

Is this law valid across india?
