I have the same helmet used on my N650r where I have clocked speeds of over 180kmph without any of the wind drag that you are referring to, so I am curious. Could the absence of drag be because of the windscreen on my bike?

Guys plzz reply.I desperately need to buy a good lid asap as next week i am riding to bangalore from mumbai soloOriginally posted by sanjana k View PostHey guys i am from mumbai and i have a LS2 PUMPING MECHANISM lid and i feel that its a great lid as i felt almost nothing when i fell directly on my head during my last accident but after that accident i could see a crack on the side of my lid and as the PUMPING MECHANISM LS2 is not available anymore at least thats what i have heard from the helmet dealers,so now i want a good helmet for myself. My budget is around 8K and around 8k i could only find HJC as both LS2 n SOL dont have size XS or S which is my size in there range, but now i am not even able to source my size in HJC as even performance racing store in mumbai doesnt have my size.So i wanted to know is there any other place in mumbai from where i can source original good quality lid of my size or any genuine site from where i can source it and btw guys i also wanted to know is this a genuine n a good site from where i can buy helmet. Re: Helmets
If you can manage till Bangalore, Helmet Paradise here has stock for HJC S size. But that's again a gamble as it's been two months since our last visit - better give'em a call before hand. If your visit includes a Sunday, we can help you with the location and buying process, evenings will do too. For most of these helmets, the inner paddings are changeable so it is advisable to check the fit then and there and you might get the perfect fit.Originally posted by sanjana k View PostGuys plzz reply.I desperately need to buy a good lid asap as next week i am riding to bangalore from mumbai soloBENEATH THE REMAINS.........

Re: Helmets
Good Day People!
This is Baibhav from Bhubaneswar.
I'm a biking enthusiasts and I'm planing to take a Duke 200 or a 390.
I currently have a Swish 125 and I'm using an LS2 FF358 Helmet.
Is it necessary for a Helmet upgrade ?
If yes I will choose between HJC and SOL! (Budget:₹10K-16K)
Looking forward for your valuable opinion.
Thank You.Last edited by BaibhavMishra; 11-30-2013, 11:11 AM.

Re: Helmets
It will largely depend on your riding style. However, it is advisable to upgrade for a better one and keep the LS2 for city rides. Reason being the most simplest of logic - With great power comes great responsibility, a movie tag which is widespread and stands true. And between the shortlisted ones, I would prefer HJC but SOL ain't bad either, choice is yours, mate! You just cannot ride the Duke super-slow in highways.Originally posted by BaibhavMishra View PostGood Day People!

The other day, an xBhpian friend who is by default an extremely slow rider was explaining on how he reached ~120 kmph before he saw the speedo & realize the same - Highways do that to you, not your fault. So it is always better to be in good gears at those speeds. BTW, he bought an SOL last day, this is FYI.BENEATH THE REMAINS.........

Very precious information.
Living at Bhubaneswar, I don't have the luxury of good helmet showrooms. So I planning of going to any metro city and purchasing one. I'm also giving preference with HJC over SOL.
Can you please mention out some particular models of HJC that would suit my budget ?
And yes I would be hitting the highway more often.
Thank You.

Re: Helmets
What is your budget? You might be knowing this that HJC retails at a higher price than SOL. The HJC CL and CS series model starts from around ~7000k and up. For a hassle-free online buy, you can contact Let's Gear up, Bangalore.
