Fogging inside do occurs but in rains or cold weather with fogs around.
I'm in Mumbai. Yes, i was planning to ask a senior member in the next g2g but the thread has gone cold since a few days. Lets take this offline, i would need some more inputs from you.

Vj sir , first of all, heartiest congratulations. As you rightly mentioned, I have gotten used to it now. Looking at the positives rather than the negatives

What is a pin lock? Let me google.

This being an AGV partnership, you can expect good quality, and as far I see they have more half open face 3/4 and half helmet and quite a few MX helmet, which would look cool or girls, but I guess we should look on the brighter side, personally. Not all bling is good, just my two cents.

As much as I don't recommend anyone from buying a MX for street use. This orange is too good to resist.

These Fast track helmets look good, but when I enquired with the sales person, I came to know that the inner linings cannot be removed for cleaning. I feel at that price they should be removable ones.

Since most of their helmets fall in the 3/4 and half face there is no practical need to remove the cheek pads, at least that's what's been the case in most cheapo plus mid range helmets out there. Unless one visits the showroom and get a look at the proper full face helmet and other helmet it's hard to know. But from the pics of it, most 3/4 and half face have a single piece liner affixed.

Appreicate the wishes buddy, thanks. PINLOCK is nothing but a anti-fog film stuck on the inside of the helmet, but the visor should be able to fix it, not all helmet visor will suit it.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Recently had a crash and my helmet hit badly in the chin area at around 40kmph .Read some where that helmet develop internal damage and its not adviced to reuse it even for short distance is that true?
If I am forced to upgrade what to do with old one because selling it (its fairly new and well maintained) to fellow biker is not fair.
Shall I get LS2 again or any other brand? Under 5k .

Once scratched always scratched, nothing can be done. The severity depends on the deepness of the scratch. If you can touch on the scratch and feel any irregularities, then your scratch is severe, but if you don't then it's not that attention requiring. But in both ways, noting is gonna help. Now I know what most people do use some solvent to get ride of the scratch and make it even worse. Remember mirror finish are noting but a silver coating on the inside, so using the wrong solvent might melt or cause blob in the visor. So for now you've gotta live with the scratch.

And BTW welcome to helmet reality.

Yes the structural integrity of a helmet is negatively affected when you take a fall especially cheaper and European helmets. Though the helmet would appear absolutely fine, the impact absorption foam inside your helmet would have cushioned your head from the impact and will become hard, and the next time, there is no difference you hitting the obstacle in and getting severe concussion or even worse.

                Cheers!

Buy a new visor ........ moreover, what I can tell you as per my personal experience that the mirror finished visors are relatively more prone to scratch appearance and so I would suggest to buy a plane and a dark visor to use as per your riding needs.

You should upgrade/replace, that is the safest advice I can give. You may take a look at SOL too if you have a budget of 5k. FYI, SOL is available in India through SPG.

Hi, as I see that this is your first post I take this responsibility to inform you that you should always search a thread on xBhp before putting up a query. It helps you with previous posts/reviews/advices immediately.

Anyways as you have asked for a helmet suggestion within 8K, you may look at brands like Airoh, HJC, SparX, SOL. Now your next part of learning is to search xBhp followed these names one by one on google and find out the previous posts, read them and then come back with a genuine query . It may take you time, but it will be worth it, trust me.

                        Warm Regards,
                        Pranav

Acebiker are genuine reseller of LS2 in India, and it's better to get from them than elsewhere, and I don't mind paying a little extra to get that extra mile.
