@Krish2778 : I can give you ideas as per Delhi prices. In 3K you can get LS2, basic models of Cross, as you have already used Ninja so wont suggest that.
@batmobile : Any problems send me a message on xbhp or just search the word with xbhp on google. E.g - "Helmets xBhp" or "Delhi xBhp" oon google, it will lead you from there. For jackets type "Riding Gears xBhp".

Wont be able to comment on SOL as haven't seen it personally. For Nuvo and Daijya you need to shell out around 2k more. They are lighter than LS2 imo. If you check the last two pages the origin of Daijya is doubtful and they all share the same shell, padding. I trust Daijya as our very own Gujjar ji uses it most of the times. SOL, as per reviews written here, seems to be a good option in almost 4k-4.5k bracketOriginally posted by krish2778 View PostYes, i was thinking ...... i hated it from day one.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

If i stretch the budget itll take me a few more months. But my current helmet state is pathetic. The pads are falling off and loads of scratches too. So want to change ASAP. Will check the others too though. Thanks for the response bro.

LS2 350 vs LS2 358
Hi guys,
Yesterday i checked the LS2 350 & LS2 358 Helmets. I found these 2 differences -
1. Removable padding
2. Air pump
I tried 2 358's & one of them had a malfunctioned Air Pump. So my question to those who have already purchased it/ reviewed it is how sturdy is the Air Pump? Does it last a couple of months?
Does it has any other advantage over LS2 350?

That air pump thingy works like this - You press a button 10-12 times and air gets filled in the inner lining and gets adjusted accordingly. The air pump will help keep the helmet a snug fit one even after a bit of sag will set in over a period of time. Since mine is just over a month old, I cannot comment how it is in the long run, All I can say is, it fits well and has acceptable (not too high) wind noise. Also, the air vents on the LS2 358 are visibly bigger than the LS2 350 and they actually help in keeping the interiors ventilated much better than the ones on the 350(As confirmed by 350 owner, Rockrz).Originally posted by krish2778 View PostBro, what is this air pump ? Hope this helped.Advice is a form of nostalgia.

So we can adjust this by changing the amount of air in it ? Thats really a nice feature.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostI happen to have one of these.. I guess you checked mine out on Wednesday itself.

And what with this number thingy, is it different models of LS2 ? Can anyone advice which one should i go for ? Which would be a better choice. Im totally unware of the LS2 available models, but the shop i know has a large selection, so what should i ask for when i go there.
I hope you guys can help me out.
Thanks for the video bro, it did help. Was not at all aware of something like this. Will surely try to get a helmet with this feature, as snug fit is really important. Is there any price change for this option ?Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostThat air pump thingy works like this - You press a button 10-12 times and air gets filled in the inner lining and gets adjusted accordingly. LS2 FF350 is the bare basic model with smaller air vents, unremovable padding and no air pump.Originally posted by krish2778 View PostSo we can adjust this by changing the amount of air in it ? Thats really a nice feature.

LS2 FF358 has those features listed above. The price difference is between 400-500. Since I also had a budget of 3k, I opted for the one with the air pump since at Rs.2650, it nicely fit my budget with cash to spare to buy the clear visor (since it came with a tinted visor)
.
Some Cross helmets might also fit this budget; but they are a bit heavier and a bit dearer than LS2s. So if going for Cross, it would be prudent if you extend that budget to 4k.Advice is a form of nostalgia.

Was checking LS2 in bangalore few days back. All the models had removable padding but only one specific model had air pump. They quoted min Rs. 2300 for non air pump ones. How much does extra visors cost? They quoted 500 for one.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostLS2 FF350 is the bare basic model with smaller air vents, unremovable padding and no air pump.

Im going to stick to LS2, my budget now allows me only that. Ill just have to ask around about this air pump thing, it turns out that the shop where we get LS2 doesn't have this in stock.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostLS2 FF350 is the bare basic model with smaller air vents, unremovable padding and no air pump.

So will have to do a little searching. Is it in any sort a disadvantage if we dont have this ?
Sorry for such noob questions, selecting a helmet is an experince i havent had till now.

Actually even I was doubtful about what I posted. But since Assassin07 posted it, I assumed it to be correctOriginally posted by vickks View PostWas checking LS2 in bangalore few days back. For the visor, even I was quoted 500.
Frankly speaking, I got the FF358 solely because of the ventilation. The Air Pump is a 'nice to have' feature which I haven't used as yetOriginally posted by krish2778 View PostIm going to stick to LS2, my budget now allows me only that. A friend of mine bought a LS2 2 years back for 3.5k. He don't have the air pump but the pads are removable. The ones which I checked (without air pump) had removable padding too.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostActually even I was doubtful about what I posted.
