the results are far surprising, thanks for the links
AGV s4 seems to be the best for 5 star...
SHARP Helmets - Comparing the following: AGV S-4, Nuvo SP2, Sparx S-07
Seems i wud go for the nuvo only as getting an AGV s4 wud means to shell out more thn 10k."you may delay, but time will not.."

Was going to post this myself, I think it was mentioned before on this thread.Originally posted by Mik View PostThis has been shared before but pinging it up again. A very good helmet safety rating initiative by the UK government. The results are surprising :-)
SHARP Helmets - THE HELMET SAFETY SCHEME
It's definitely essential reading for those that want good protection as a priority, how many will take note and use this as a guide when purchasing their next lid, is another issue.Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Looking to get a new helmet, almost zeroed in on SOL SL68s Yellow. Like to know whether it feels heavy during touring and the fit at high speeds.

Also like to know whether this Orange Color displayed in SOL international site can be sourced here?

Hello friends,
I need a new helmet and have considered LS2 Phobia and Celtic (the one with airpump tech).
Went to AM helmets ( or is it AH Helmets?) on Link Road Kandivali, after a bit of haggling the best that they could offer me is as under:
Phobia: 2800 INR
Celtic: 3500 INR
Is this a fair price? There is one more shop in Goregaon on the link road, will check there too. Any other places in the suburbs I can check?
Also the Celtic comes with a Mercury visor, how would the visibility be in the night? Spare visors (transparent) are available at around 550 each.
Looking forward to hear from you.

These are the same price I was quoted but I bargained phobia(FF350 i guess) to 2500 and Celtic(FF 358) to 3000. And finally went for celtic. FF 358 has better padding(fully removable and washable) 50 gms heavier than FF 350 a better breath deflector and a wonder called air pump to give best fit and protection and FF 358 is 4 starred in SHARP ratring. I have a black smoked visor but I'll get a clear one for night rides.I would suggest clear visor is the only option for night. And FF358 has got a very easy visor removal system so keep a colored visor for day time and clear one for night..Originally posted by hirenmistry View PostHello friends,

You might want to check up at Funky's (if there is one in Mumbai) since I got my FF358 for 3200. FF350 were priced at 2500. This was like 3 weeks back here in Pune.Originally posted by hirenmistry View PostHello friends,
