I am also using MT Axxis since a year, I have also same problem ,we can't glue them as we have to take these pads out periodically for cleaning.
This reminded of my friend who dropped my helmet on day one when he was holding it from front side -chin cover left in his hands & helmet fell on the floor. him for scratching it.

Surprised to know about the chin curtain just coming off like that. In my SOL MM2, it is held in place by 2 hooks which can be accessed only by removing the cheek pads and it does not come out just by tugging. But putting the weight of the entire helmet on that flimsy curtain is wrong practice.

In my Ls2, this never happened in all these years. Not even once.

Don't they have hooks inside them for holding their position? Is it just inserted by the edges and left like that?

I've already sent the mail to this effect as even I faced this issue. The reply I got:

"Thank you for getting in touch with us.*The construction of this and most other helmets are such that they tuck in the chin curtain and lower cheek pads into the rim of the shell. Because of the shape of individual heads, more friction is sometimes applied on the lower extremities of the padding while putting on and taking off the helmet causing them to work a little loose. This can happen even if the helmet is a perfect fit but normally if it's a little tight.

In such cases, a simple manual readjustment of the padding is required whenever you notice it has come loose. Much like you would tuck in your shirt.*😊

            With warm regards"

I've had occasion to mail them apart from this too, they have a very friendly service when it comes to queries or exchanges.

I am using MT blade for around 6 months but haven't faced any issue with chin curtain. But yes inner sun visor gets loose every now and then which is irritating.

Hi Guys I have been using MT Mugello Helmet for about 3 months now and I have removed and cleaned the padding and visor 2 times, my concern is the visor is pretty hard to put it back once removed and spring snap on the helmet is little too tight to press and hold while fixing the visor. Since the Visor has small tabs that gets clamped to the snap i am worried that those tabs might break if I Frequently remove my visor for cleaning. Is it wise to remove the visor for periodic maintenance ? or is there another ways of cleaning them without removing? And please suggest me how often can we change the visor to a new one or when is the optimum time to replace the visor? I may sound noobish but suggestions can help.

                Regards,
                Abi

Common issue in all AXXIS models.
Even my friend who owns a Axxis Is facing the same issue.

Luckily this problem doesn't exist in my MT BLADE.

No one would really recommend a modular helmet when it comes to safety, so unless you're really keen on this one and have only low speed city usage, then only I would go for it. For a modular it seems to be as safe as it would get, but again, nothing like a full face. If you have any high speed or highway riding, definitely a full face.

Coming to the MT revenge, I have had both Axxis as well as revenge, and apart from the SHARP rating, you wouldn't really feel any difference to be quite honest. There's an improvement in build quality, although I found blade to be the most comfortable. In terms of an upgrade, if you have the budget, I would consider other brands like HJC too and not just MT.
PS I have specs too, you'll have to go to a shop and try the helmet on once to be sure, as mine didn't fit and I have to use contacts for it.

so basically axxis & revenge has the same shell (heard that kronos is a rebranded axxis) so I get the same shell in kronos at cheaper price - if yes - I'm picking kronos asap!! :P
no, flip up is not something I'm keen on - just an added convenience when I want to drink water when touring etc etc...

So other than MT (my fav & trusted) any what else do you suggest??

Fixed the lining and other stuff. Feviquick to the rescue! By the way, used the el cheapo ISI helmet for a day. Horrible is the only word that I can come up with.

As far as I'm aware, there would be SOL and HJC to consider. I would go with MT over SOL, no doubt, but regarding HJC, why not look over some ownership articles? That would give you a better idea.
But mostly I feel that MT revenge/Matrix/Kre would be good depending on your budget.
