      Read it.
Now I dont know whether you know this or not, but Karol Bagh works like this, all shops help each other when one doesnt have any product.
Secondly, yes the shop next to him is not authorised dealer for MT. So if the next shop gives you fake warranty, you would be happy. And if chopra was sure about it he might have sounded rude. Cant comment more on that as I cant judge tone if I am not there.

Nowhere I am related to Chopra, but clearing things out as a person who has been to almost every shop of Karol Bagh

And i also know how things in karol bagh works.
Almost familiar with every "gali" of automobile market there.

As i said earlier some of you guys might had totally diff experience with him ( i respect that ).
That was the first and last time i visited his shop.
I've just shared my experience with him hope you can appreciate that aswell.
No more discussion on this topic please!!

Will suggest to go for MT Kre or Matrix. Though they are very snug fit helmets. Also it's recommended to personally check the helmet size before purchasing.

It's around 18k and if you're not taking the bill (saves vat for the shopkeeper), they'll sell you around 16-17k.

            3k direct save here! :P

Going to pick a new lid next week (hopefully)
I am having MT Axxis, good lid.. been 2 years..
now I'm thinking of MT again.. now we got only polycarbonate shells below 10K, I got a few questions..

Are all the polycarbonate shells almost the same when it comes to performance? except the little bit of liners that make up the difference or is there anything else that sets apart a MT Revenge from a Kranos?

I need a helmet with good wind noise cancellation.

I'll be wearing spectacles (frameless, 3 piece)

(have to confess, I'll be using earphones when riding on the highways, yes I am alert & won't make sudden changes and keep checking my RVMs for big vehicles)

also I do a 1.5 hours of city riding daily to and from office.. so something for 2 more years..

live long.. live happy.. that's the best revenge that can be served to the people who hate you..

                Hi team,

Currently using SOL SF1 large size for an year. Now it's paddings became loose and it's difficult to use. Even after washing it doesn't fits well. So looking for a medium size paddings. Where can I get in Chennai or Coimbatore. TIA

I agree with your concern. I think, its most important kind of motorcycle gear. Your head is the most vulnerable when it comes to accidents; whenever a biker falls off his bike, one of the first things which must be protected is your head.

I have recently purchased Shark helmet, World's reputed brand from the High Note Performance. They have diverse range made it easier to select. Shark Range of helmets is perhaps the best. It works great for me. Hope it helps.

                    Cheers...!!!

from inside not all the tinted visors are same, smoke has a different level of light filtering and chrome/iridium/coated visors allow/pass light differently. i am not all technical here with optics and stuff, but in simpler terms, i should be able to ride post 6PM on poor lit roads with headlights on without opening my visor!

i hope i made little sense this time. please suggest. thankyou!
Check out your nearest decathlon store. They have an anti glare bicycle glasses for about 300 rs. They are fantastic at cutting headlight glare from our fellow road users who have no idea how the headlight switch works, it seems.

Anyways, I visited Bike-o-Pedia, tried out Kranos & the helmet felt downright cheap.. not worth anything beyond 800-1000 maxxxx.. certainly not worth the 3K pricetag.

I currently have a "L" sized Axxis, need a new helmet since it became loose & I'm not getting the padding anywhere since MT changed the placement of the "buttons" of the old & new models
tried out the Kre, it was amazingly comfortable.. was about to pick it when I saw the Matrix with the pump.. made more sense to go for that in case the paddings get loose & I have to replace the helmet like it's happening right now.. fiberglass and all, it felt great, but only "problem" is that if the pump fails, it'll be a bit of a trouble, also the chin was very close to me and the helmet was fogging up like crazy.. since it's 5* rated & fiberglass, I saw another 5* rated - yeah the Revenge, wanted to check out the Blade due to the great graphics it had - it was great.. but then again, I tried out Revenge, not as amazing as Kre, but definitely better than any other helmet out there that was on display, even the Mucello was on display, tried it, it was ok ok..

so about Revenge, I picked up the Medium, yes my cheeks are paining & the Bike-o-Pedia folks were amazing & they were friendly & patient with me trying out the helmets (I took 2 hours & saw just about 6 helmets) and finally picked up the Revenge.. so far I absolutely love it..

my jaw pains, but it's perfectly snug & great.. I hope the padding gets a little easy on my round face ASAP..

now, both the polycarbonate & the fiberglass are rated 5* by SHARP.. from what I read somewhere online (since it's online, it must be true), the Fiberglass performs better than polycarbonate when hitting sharp edges/objects and polycarbonate is better than fiberglass when coming down on flat surface or something that's NOT sharp..

Logic : if it can withstand sharp, why not blunt?? no idea.. but yeah both carry 5* rating, hence, went with the cheaper option..

Offered online as pointed out by Pizzaboi as Rs.2200/- thereabouts. So Peter probably paid the regular price for the helmet and was duped on the discount part.

I guess you are all now going to say that Snapdeal is DUPING people selling a ECE/DOT/ISI Certified helmet for Rs.4580/-. Similar to the one I bought but without the double visors. I guess you could check with some local shops who are so honest with pricing and guarantee genuine products (not company outlets who dupe people) how much this costs to check if Snapdeal is duping people.

So when everyone is saying that Axor retails around at 2000-2500, they "all" are wrong?
And when did just a sticker of ECE/DOT on e-commerce site guarantees that its a genuine product.

Please search the forum , the genuinity of online deals have been discussed too deeply
