Re: Helmets
Hey bro, is the axiss braking stopped?? Also SPG has increased 350 rupees in helmets yesterday. Axiss braking is not available in the SPG website. 😓Originally posted by vedavyasa86 View Post4 wheels move your body, 2 wheels move your soul .

Re: Helmets
Hi Guys, wish to buy a new helmet as my current one is 2+ years old. So far I've been using studds ninja. It serves the purpose. Had 3 crashes. Fortunately all of them were not head on. Only helmet drags
. I think it's time to change it. I've zeroed in on hjc cl17. But when I did some online research all most all the budget helmet shells are made up of one or the other form of Thermoplastic(polycarbonate or so). So what's the point in buying a foreign over indian brands? Or do I need to go for fiberglass ?(CF is out of budget). Also I read somewhere that the foam(not the liner) inside matters more than the outer shell. Confused. Please enlighten me and let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Re: Helmets
You can check out HJC CS-R2 or MT Blade, both are priced similarly and both are made of Poly carbonate.. Both are DOT certified as well, so both are equally safe, in case of a crash, but at the end of the day, it all matters on how snug the fit is..I say you try them both on in a local shop if possible.Originally posted by rixBhp View PostHi Guys, wish to buy a new helmet as my current one is 2+ years old. Snell certification is the reason to select CL17. I tried it at the shop. And it's snug fit. I didn't know CSR2 is silent (CL17 is loud as per the reviews). I think I should consider it. it's cheaper too. Also, is there any possibility of local shops dupe us by selling duplicate helmets? (note the LS2 story). Importing is rip off. Orders worth minimum $300 is eligible for free international shipping at revzilla. And the duty is 30%+.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostMy vote for HJC CS R2, used it, very quiet till 110Love the ride, not the destination

Re: Helmets
Has any one changed MT axxis inner padding? I am looking for it in mumbai but both Moto 101 and AH helmets dose not have it in their stores. When I called Moto 101 I came to know that they don't sell internal paddings... I want it soon as wind noise is too much now because of loose padding.

Thanks. I'll come by Friday.Originally posted by TranquilRageHi. It seems we have a pair of unused Medium cheek pads for Axxis with us. If that's your size, come by Moto101 today or on Friday.
If M is not your size, send a request email to SPG.

Re: Helmets
Hello Guys,
I am looking for a full face helmet dedicated for long rides. I had plan to buy HJC CL-17, but it's out of stock
also heard that it's visor is expensive, is it so ?
Are LS2 good (heard of duplicates ) ? Also do they have D ring fastening ?
MT and SOL kindly shred some light on these.
I ride thunderbird, prefer a helmet suitable for upright riding posture.
