Not necessarily. It mostly depends on the materials used & things like leds do tend to increase weight.

This is what my SF01 weighs.
-1819 grams
Reason: Removable Cheek pads + LED indicators with battery + inner smoked Visor.
I did it feel the helmet being a bit heavy during city commuting, but on the highway it feels light with No wind noise.

Very sharp observation Madhav - also don't forget the inner sun lens in the SF1 which effectively means the helmet has two visors. The 68s on the other hand weighs about 1600 gms in the size M which is about bang in the middle of the helmet weights page on webbikeworld. - Motorcycle Helmet Weights - webBikeWorld

Daijiya is better than LS2 also if you are looking for budget of 4500 you can also look at Sol Helmets - SOL Helmet India

I've used Studds & Vega in the past; I've felt AGV; compared to these SOL doesn't weigh too much; I'm talking about SOL after 4.6K of riding experience. Best part is that, its a snug fit & the inner linings are easy to change over the time.

hey guys im thinking of taking a LS2 Crown to match my duke (booked it today )

so LS2 crown is FF350 model or FF358 model with air pump or without air pump ?
LS2's are not available at my city
so getting it shipped from banglore for 2500

so i want to know whether it has the air pump system in that CROWN model or not ?

and where do we get LS2's tinted visor ?
im looking for greenish or chrome shaded tints rather than black tint , can any body help me out ?because ive seen a fellow xbhpian wearing ls2 crown with green shade tint on his duke and it suited with the bike very well so want it !!
