Is it in late evenings ? , Since monsoons are apporoching dark clouds will mean that itll get darker at early hours as compared to now, so i would suggest clear visors, im using a mirror finish visor, and it isnt too good for the cloudy or dark conditions.

Thats should be fine on regular days, but in over clowded conditions i found it a little less visibility with the visor on.

Everyone will be having their own comfort levels, i suggest you try out once and then decide.

SOL helmets are the best product in the range. Go for it. It has a tinted visor option I think. Don consider mirror or chrome finish as a shortlist option. Safety is first dude.. Go through the site and then come back!

With a decent budget like that, you have several options. A word of advice - iridium (mirror) visors are for show and impractical during the evenings and at night and are very difficult to maintain.

Go to page 799, at 5k the options available are explained with pictures by a member. But SOL is the best value for money and I think in Chennai you can check fit before buying

Hi bro, why you wan't to go with vega boolean. from my experience its no a very good choice. you can go for LS2, Cross or something. If you have your budget extended checkout the latest wave SOL also Sparx and KBC etc. are available. I don't know about Tiruvalla, but the above mentioned helmets are available in Auto Queen, Cochin from where we kerala xbhpian buy their gears. You can pay a visit there which is worth enough. The shop owners name is Sabu. If you wan't to talk to him over the phone pls PM me, I will give his mobile number.

Not necesorrly only in cochin, its available in many places, have seen a lot (trust me, a LOT) of them around Trichur,Pattambi, Kunnamkulam area. So im guessing its readily available in other parts of kerala too. Do search around in a few helmet shops. Youll find it for sure.
