    Dude, tell your budget first
    1. Pioneer has a clear visor for LS2 go get it (450 bucks)
    2. Spartan progear near Akkarai has SOL helmets
    3. Velavan motors, valasaravakkam has Rjays I think not sure, call them and check it out
    Thanks Chandru!
I checked with them yesterday and they did not have the same in stock. Being waiting for 3 months for the same. I hope its the same one - Pioneer Scooter House. Will check with Spartan.

      • Hi everyone! My helmet just got spoiled , it was a studds Ninja. I'm planning to get a good helmet this week itself. Kindly suggest me a good helmet for daily commute.

I've heard a lot of good comments for LS2 but is LS2 really worth for the daily commute or is it for the touring purpose alone? So confused since i was just looking at the studds and vega a few hour back. I know xbhpians dont lie about the brand.

Exactly. Consider two fleshy buns on either side of your face even compressed that's what's happening to me

Lots of helmet, try Vega helmets, you have lots of models at affordable prices. LS2 can be used both as a touring and daily commute, nothing to fuss about. LS2 is a good helmet and you can go for it. Cost wise you have helmets ranging from 500 to 50,000 so there is a wide variety to choose from.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Did you check via phone, because when I checked via phone I got the same response. I am talking about the Pioneer one in GP road near EA mall. I went down for some other purchase and found they have the visor. I am breathing easy once I got the clear visor. Look wise I prefer tinted but function -wise clear visor does the job far better.
Call them again and tell 'last week my friend got can you double check?'
Incase I am PM-ing you their number

VJ, I thought it was only the GP1 that was too tight as it has a 'race fit'! If the regular Speedfire has d same fir, then won't it be better to go for a one size larger in any Airoh?

If your inner padding's are removable, wash them using mild shampoo. But how does it make that smell? Did it have the smell when you bought the helmet?

It is absolutely normal for some helmets to release some kinda of odd odor when it's brand new, it's pretty normal. In case if the odor interferes with your riding ability causing too much odor during riding can be a nuisance and it takes time to get those odor away, there is nothing much you can do.

Best advice is to use spray perfume (room freshner recommended) inside the helmet, no much, but very mildly inside the inners. If you have removable cheek pads, try removing and spraying some, and leave the helmet in full air for a full day inside your house, it should help.

I've had the same issue with a Vega helmet, did the same thing, but still the odor persisted for sometime, and then vanished without a trail

Then after that, it was all sweat odor I was experiencing.

                        Cheers!

True, but does a new helmet smell soo much? Maybe the padding is wet (due to sweat) and is kept in a closed place. Simple, if your towel is wet and is kept in the washroom it smells. Try keeping it under sunlight..

Exactly, I'd recommend, you check the fit before you buy, because these Italian damn things always run, either narrower or tighter than the normal ones, learned the hard way. Go for M if you're a S > XL if you're L and XXL if you XL as far as AIROH is concerned. Though there maybe certain one-off fellas who have perfect fit, but for me I need an XL for sure. Damn

That's right and in some cases, yes, the helmets do stink. Take a new textile jacket for example, it has a strange smell to it, and wears off as you use the jacket. That's why I meant keeping it in open air for a while. It's highly impossible for the padding to be wet on a new one. It smells because of the fresh paintjob and plastic chemicals, fabric in cheekpads so and so forth. So wise decision, a little, perfume and a little sun should do the trick.

I don't think so it will be a good idea to go for the lager size. then i guess it will compromise the safety of the person during the crash .. then whats the point of buying the helmet ... And ya i have tried 1 size lager than original size well it was way too big .. my head was easily movable inside the helmet ..

@Deville: i am having speedfire joker and yes i am wearing the correct size
